Chapter 161 - Creation Trio

"Roar, !!!"

"Roar, !!!"

Dialga and Palkia thrashed against their restraints, power shaking the air with each violent surge.

But the crimson chains wrapped around their bodies didn't loosen.

They pulled tighter, biting into their divine forms like the grip of fate itself.

Every struggle only fed the chains.

Worse, the Red Chain wasn't just physical.

A strange pressure seeped into their minds, suppressing their wills, smothering the instincts that once guided the gods of time and space.

Their movements grew stiff, empty, like marionettes fighting their own strings.

"Surrender!"

"Resistance is pointless!"

Cyrus' laughter cut through the distorted air.

His hand clutched the glowing core that linked to the Red Chain, pulsing in rhythm with the tightening bonds.

Slowly, inevitably, control seeped deeper.

Dialga's ancient eyes dulled.

Palkia's roar lost its authority.

The twin gods of time and space hung suspended, trapped, and hollow.

"Finally," Cyrus breathed, madness stretching across his face, "you kneel beneath my will."

The Red Chain shimmered in his grip.

And for a moment, it looked as though he held the universe itself.

Then the air above them twisted.

A dark tear split open, a black void forming in the sky like reality itself was peeling apart.

The darkness inside was absolute, swallowing even light.

No stars. No reflection. Just a silent, suffocating abyss.

Something moved within it.

A shadowy shape slid forward, long and serpentine, its body wreathed in dark haze, like a centipede forged from living smoke.

Giratina.

The ruler of antimatter, guardian of the Reverse World.

Where Dialga molded time and Palkia shaped space, Giratina stabilized the balance between both.

And now, drawn by the disturbance, it emerged from the distortion with a rumble that shook the air.

The antimatter world reacted to the instability of time and space, so Giratina had come.

Its gaze locked onto Dialga and Palkia, wrapped in countless strands of the Red Chain.

It could feel the suppression, the stolen will, the forced submission.

"Rrraahhh!!!"

Giratina's roar thundered through the sky.

It understood immediately, whatever bound the others wasn't ordinary human craft.

This was something dangerous, capable of subduing legends.

Cyrus spread his arms wide, eyes shining with wild triumph.

"Hahaha! Giratina!"

"So the legends were true. Controlling Dialga and Palkia forces you to appear!"

He stepped forward, chains humming, madness dripping from every word.

"You're the final piece of my world, my perfect world! So come now… surrender to me as well!"

He snapped his wrist.

The Red Chain lashed outward, glowing, twisting, shooting straight toward Giratina.

"Rrraaagh!!!"

Giratina didn't hesitate.

Its massive form dissolved into swirling haze, slipping aside as the chain sliced through empty air.

The ghostly mist reformed a distance away, coalescing once more into Giratina's full shape.

A clean escape.

Cyrus didn't frown. Didn't panic. His lips curled into a cold smile.

"Then let's see how long you can dodge."

His voice sharpened.

"Palkia, Spacial Rend!"

The orb on Palkia's right shoulder flared to life, glowing a fierce orange.

Though its eyes were empty, its body obeyed mechanically, raising its arm as a blade of warped space carved outward.

"And Dialga," Cyrus commanded, "Roar of Time!"

Time folded visibly around Dialga.

Energy gathered into a blinding white beam before it surged forward, warping everything in its path.

The twin assaults, one cutting space, the other ripping through time, raced toward Giratina.

Under Cyrus' control, two gods unleashed their might in unison, tearing at the sky itself as they struck.

Giratina slipped between torn spaces like a shadow, dodging the combined onslaught, but even it couldn't ignore the sharp distortion of time and space closing in.

"Honor me!" Cyrus shouted, voice cracking with obsession.

"Surrender! Giratina, this is the only path left for you!"

With Dialga and Palkia chained beneath his will, Cyrus moved with the confidence of someone who believed he had already won.

In his mind, Giratina was just one more piece waiting to fall into place.

But Giratina wasn't moved by his words.

Its allegiance had never shifted, not once, not for anyone.

The three great Pokémon bowed only to Arceus, the Creator.

To be commanded by a human through trickery?

BLASHPHEMY

"Rrrraaaagh!!!"

Giratina roared, a deep tremor that shook the Spear Pillar.

A storm of black haze burst from its body, swirling outward until the sky itself seemed to drown in darkness.

Shadows crawled across the ruins, bending around the broken stone pillars like living creatures.

The air grew cold.

Silent. Breathless.

Then, shapes began to form. Dozens, then hundreds.

Murky silhouettes stepped out of the darkness, each one flickering like a nightmare barely held together.

Giratina's signature attack, Shadow Force.

Cyrus narrowed his eyes, unfazed.

"Still so stubborn."

He yanked the Red Chain, and Dialga and Palkia's bodies twitched to life like puppets tightened by their strings.

"Dialga! Roar of Time, scatter those illusions!"

Dialga's chest orb flashed.

A pulse of warped time surged outward, splitting the shadows and tearing through the sky.

The phantom army broke apart as the beam cut through the swirling haze.

"Palkia! Spacial Rend, strike him down!"

Palkia's gem flickered violently.

With a swift, mechanical swipe, a jagged crack tore open in the air, a blade of space itself falling toward Giratina.

This time, Giratina couldn't evade.

The rift sliced across its midsection.

A heavy, sickening impact burst through the mountain top as Giratina crashed into the stone with a roar of pain.

Dust exploded upward, and its haze-like aura scattered in trembling waves.

The legendary dragon writhed, struggling to rise.

"I told you," Cyrus said, stepping closer, eyes burning with triumph.

"There is no point in resisting."

"Before Dialga and Palkia, even you must kneel."

"You will surrender."

As Giratina thrashed in the crater, Cyrus hurled the Red Chain forward.

It slithered around Giratina the instant it touched, tightening with sharp, unnatural force.

"Rrrrragh!!!"

Giratina roared, body twisting violently, but the chain dug deeper. Its gold eyes flickered, fighting, straining, until the light drained away entirely, replaced by a dull, empty red.

One more god stolen.

Now all three of Sinnoh's legends stood bound under Cyrus' control.

At that moment, far below, Sam and Cynthia arrived with the Sinnoh Elite squad.

Their breath caught as they stepped onto the ancient stone platform and saw the impossible sight above them.

Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, all chained.

All controlled.

Cynthia's fists clenched. The wind whipped her long blonde hair, but she didn't blink, didn't look away.

This wasn't only a disaster, it was a nightmare.

Sam exhaled slowly. He knew this moment from his past life's knowledge of the Pokémon world, but seeing it unfold with his own eyes was different.

Real. Terrifying.

But he had prepared for this.

He pulled the rainbow-hued stone from his pocket.

Light rippled inside it, reacting instantly to the presence of the three captive gods.

Their divine power surged toward the stone, three forces blending into one trembling pulse.

Sam raised it above his head.

"Rayquaza," he called, voice calm despite the chaos,"come!"

High above the region, far above the clouds, above the jet streams, above the very sky, the ozone layer trembled.

Rayquaza, coiled like an emerald titan, opened its golden eyes.

It felt Sam's call.

The air distorted around its serpent-like body as it lunged forward, splitting through the atmosphere with a booming shockwave.

Its long form streaked across the sky like a burning comet.

In a single heartbeat, Rayquaza pierced the cloud line and descended upon the Spear Pillar.

Emerald scales gleamed.

The air vibrated with its presence.

And for the first time, Rayquaza stood face-to-face with the three controlled gods of Sinnoh.

The sky trembled.

The mountain shook.

And the true battle was about to begin.
