Chapter 2 - Whispers Behind the Glass

There is a mirror Don't reflect your image And it shows you sides of yourself that you didn't know about They warned us about it, but we laughed. But now nobody is laughing

We moved to an old house in a small village after our original house burned down. I was nervous from the beginning, but my mother said the change was good. The house was clean, but strange... the walls were cold even in the middle of summer, and the doors made a creaking sound.A soft groan whenever it closes.

The first night, as I was tidying my room, I noticed something stuck under the bed. I pulled out a small, dusty wooden box. It looked very old, as if it were centuries old. I opened it... and inside was a very small hand mirror, with a strange silver frame, and inscriptions in a language I didn't understand Strange? I didn't see my reflection...

Instead, I saw myself sleeping in my bed, but at the same time, standing up. It was as if the mirror was beaming from the future.

I laughed and said, "Maybe a hallucination," and left it on the table. But an hour later, when I fell asleep, .

When I slept, the first incident happened...

I woke up to the sound of knocking inside the room, not on the door, no… from within the walls.

"Tick... tick... tick..."

The sound of nails made it sound like someone was trying to get out from inside.

I ran to my mom, but her room was empty. She was wrapped in a blanket on her bed.A white paper on which was written: "She saw herself through their eyes, and they came back to take her."

I went back to my room, startled, and saw that the mirror had turned black... but it had an image of a face. My face... but no eyes.

The second day, I tried to damage the mirror, but I broke it... or I thought I broke it. But on the third day, I found it back where it belonged, clean and in the same condition.

I started seeing my face change in her. Every time I looked at her, I appeared with longer hair, or without a mouth, or hanging from chains. It was as if she was showing me what would happen to me. Or maybe... what had really happened to me in another world.

I started hearing whispers every night.

"Come down... open the door."

"They're waiting for you downstairs."

On a red moon night, I saw a door I had never seen before. It was behind the closet, small, but slightly open. I went down silently, walking to the sounds of whispers, and each step took me deeper into the ground, until I reached a dark place, the walls of which breathe

And there was... a large mirror the size of the wall, standing in the middle of the room, surrounded by black candles, and in it was me...

But not me.

It was "Me Two"… smiling an evil smile, her eyes completely black, whispering:

"Finally… you've arrived."

I screamed, trying to run, but the ground beneath my feet was turning into hands pulling me. I heard my mother's voice screaming, but not from above... but from inside the mirror!

I reached out, touched its surface... and suddenly it was pulled inside.

The mirror isn't in my room now... it's me.

Everyone who approaches it sees me smiling...

But inside, I'm screaming silently.

Can you hear me?

Can you get me out?

Because... you're the next one.
