Chapter 207 - Chapter 207 Happy

After the combat order was given, all the accomplices put on their Joker Suits and urgently rushed to Los Angeles.

Jason, finding them too slow, went ahead first, flying towards Los Angeles.

An unidentified flying object appeared in US airspace. It was quickly detected by S.H.I.E.L.D. satellites, and the signal was transmitted to the Los Angeles hideout.

In the conference room, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s senior agents were all gathered.

The large screen was split into several sections, each displaying the flight data of one of the accomplices.

Based on their flight path, there was no doubt Los Angeles was their target.

Facing the Joker organization's aggressive revenge, Nick Fury, with a grave expression, issued one combat order after another.

......

An hour later, Jason had crossed over 3,000 kilometers, flying from New York to Los Angeles.

After hovering in mid-air to get his bearings, he flew towards Stark Industries.

That bastard Tony said he was waiting at home, but he didn't say where his home was.

No choice. Jason could only go to Stark Industries and try his luck to see if anyone knew.

It was the start of the workday. Stark Industries employees were greeting each other good morning and swiping their cards to enter the office building.

Despite experiencing countless storms, Stark Industries still stood tall.

However, the vast factory complex had already become an empty shell, a mere facade. The most critical factory equipment had all been moved.

Some moved to other states, some even moved overseas.

But regardless, the current locations of Stark Industries' factories had become a top-level secret.

After clashing with the Joker organization multiple times, Tony had learned to spread the risk, understanding the principle of not putting all his eggs in one basket.

...

"Hey! Badge!"

Tony's former bodyguard, now the Head of Security for Stark Industries, Happy, was standing at the entrance of the administration building, working diligently.

However, his so-called work was just reminding all employees not to stuff their badges in their pockets, but to clip them to their chests.

Watching the employees obediently comply, Happy's heart swelled with a sense of accomplishment. Being a boss was so much better than being a bodyguard.

"So annoying!"

"Yeah, he's insufferable."

Two employees muttered about Happy as they put on their badges.

"Why do you think Mr. Stark made him the Head of Security? He's fat, stupid, and always stares at the female employees."

"Security at Stark Industries is a high-risk job. Besides him, who else is fearless enough to apply?"

"Oh, right. Hmph, I just hope he doesn't piss his pants when he runs into the Joker organization."

BOOM!!!

Suddenly, a loud crash erupted in front of the building. Jason descended from the sky, slamming hard into the ground.

CRASH!

A violent shockwave radiated from him as the epicenter, shattering all the glass windows of the administration building.

"AHHHHH!!!!!"

Recognizing that face, all the employees were terrified, screaming and running for the distance.

What a fucking jinx!

They had just mentioned the Joker organization, and they'd summoned the boss himself.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Just then, several bullets hit Jason's body, then fell harmlessly to the ground.

Jason turned his head. A fat white man was pointing a gun at him in terror.

"Who are you?" Jason asked as he walked forward.

Happy emptied the magazine and quickly tried to reload.

Clatter!

His hand trembled, and the new magazine fell to the ground.

Happy bent down to pick it up, but extreme fear made his legs weak, and he stumbled to his knees.

A pair of black leather shoes stopped in front of the magazine. Happy's outstretched hand froze.

He slowly raised his head and saw a pair of cold, indifferent eyes. Every hair on his body stood on end!

"Get up!"

Jason's tone was calm, but it carried immense pressure.

Almost as a subconscious physical reaction, Happy immediately stood up, his back ramrod straight.

"Stark Industries... Head of Security." Jason read Happy's badge and asked, "Do you know where Tony Stark is?"

Happy squeezed his eyes shut, swallowed hard, and trembled, "I... I don't know."

"Heh!" A corner of Jason's mouth lifted in a smile. "As the Head of Security, you don't even know where your boss is. What's the use of you being alive?"

As he spoke, Jason shot out his hand, his five fingers forming a claw, and grabbed Happy's head.

"I'll give you three seconds. Tell me the location of Tony's villa, and I'll spare you."

"One!"

Happy trembled violently, but he grit his teeth so hard they audibly ground together.

"Two!"

Jason's fingers tightened slightly. Intense pain shot through Happy's skull, as if his head was about to explode.

"Three!"

The force increased, and the pain intensified.

Happy's mouth flew open in a heart-wrenching wail: "AHHH!!!"

"Hmph! Some guts, at least."

Jason smiled faintly and poured energy into his five fingers.

SPLAT!

A sharp, explosive crack!

Happy's head was crushed. Red and white matter splattered like mud all over Jason's face, making him look even more menacing and terrifying.

Thud!

The headless corpse collapsed. Jason calmly shook the blood from his hand and strode into the administration building.

The first floor was completely empty, not a soul. He crouched, building up power, and shot upwards like a rocket.

BOOM!

The hard, reinforced concrete was as fragile as... tofu... before him. Jason easily smashed through the floor slab and landed on the fifth floor.

"AHHH!!!"

The fifth-floor employees were terrified, letting out ear-piercing screams.

Jason, annoyed by the noise, roared: "SHUT UP!!!"

The shout silenced the office area. Everyone held their breath.

Jason scanned the room and asked, "Who knows where Tony's villa is? Whoever knows, lives!"

Hearing this, the office staff looked like they were about to cry.

They were just employees; how would they know where the boss lived?

"I know!"

"I know, too!"

Just then, two employees excitedly raised their hands, shouting.

Jason smiled and beckoned. The two immediately ran over, their faces wreathed in obsequious smiles.

"Mr. Walter, I know where Stark lives."

"Mr. Walter, I know too, and I raised my hand first!"

Jason nodded in satisfaction. He sat down in a rolling office chair. "Don't say it. Find a pen and paper and write it down. If the answers are the same, you both live. If they're different... heh heh..."

Hearing this, the two scrambled into an office, found paper and pens, ran back, and sprawled on the floor, writing quickly.

At almost the same time, they finished writing and handed the papers over.

Jason took them and glanced at them, finding both addresses were identical.

"10880 Malibu Point, Malibu, CA 90265?"

The two nodded. "Yes!"

Jason crumpled the two papers in his hand. A flame ignited, burning them to ash.

He strode to the floor-to-ceiling window, looked back, and said, "A piece of advice: stop working at Stark Industries."

With that, he leaped, smashing through the window. The air around him boomed, and Jason instantly vanished.

Stark's villa was in Malibu. Jason flew there at top speed and sent the location to his accomplices.
