Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Betrayer’s Judgment

---

A week had passed since Sam walked out of Blackridge Prison like a god reborn.

The world above still hadn't recovered from the destruction. News channels scrambled for answers. Some blamed terrorist groups, others claimed it was a natural disaster. But no one knew the truth — not yet.

Deep underground, beneath an abandoned city, The Abyss Citadel stood tall. Built in hours by Sam's infinite summons, it was a marvel of shadow technology, powered by the System. Towering spires of dark steel, obsidian walls, AI-controlled surveillance — a fortress made for war.

Sam stood in the central command chamber, arms crossed, staring at two bound and beaten figures kneeling before him: Tia and Rex.

The people who betrayed him.

Rex looked up, his lip bloody, his voice cracking. "Sam, I didn't have a choice. They forced me. It was the cops, the politicians—"

"You chose," Sam interrupted coldly. "You saw a chance to climb higher. You pushed me down and smiled."

Tia's eyes were red with tears. "Sam, I was scared! They told me if I didn't testify, they'd kill me! I thought… I thought you'd be safe—"

"You thought I'd rot in prison while you two lived in luxury," Sam snapped. "Your betrayal sentenced me to death."

He turned away, fists clenched. For a brief moment, silence.

Then—

[DING! System Unlock: Soul Lock Chamber – Allows traitors to relive betrayal endlessly in illusion.]

Sam didn't hesitate. "Send them in."

The floor beneath them shimmered and cracked. Two dark pods rose from below. The summons dragged Rex and Tia forward, ignoring their cries, and sealed them inside.

Inside the chambers, they would live endless loops — testifying against Sam again and again, feeling the guilt, the fear, the shame — for eternity.

Sam exhaled slowly.

"That's justice."

---

Moments later, his top commanders entered — summoned warriors gifted with intelligence and leadership.

"Phase One preparations complete," one said. "We've located the twenty strongest criminal organizations across the globe."

Sam walked to the holographic world map, now marked with red blinking dots.

"Send infiltration squads. I want every empire to kneel. Every king to fall."

[DING! Global Infiltration Phase One – Activated.]

Silver portals opened across the command center. Thousands of operatives marched through, vanishing to their destinations.

Sam sat on his throne, gaze dark.

"They tried to bury me," he whispered. "Now, I'll bury the world they built."
