After returning, Levian explained to his father the changes he had experienced in his system.
He told him about how he had ranked up to high-silver, though he had not managed to break through into gold.
Lord Odin nodded his head in understanding. "That's because breaking through into gold isn't something that can just be done through dungeons. It is only done by besting a low-gold or above in combat... The system works in strange ways."
Levian cursed at this. He wanted to break through before his fight with Malachi.
However, he now felt much more confident in his capabilities, thanks to a secret he had kept from his father.

When he first read its description, Levian was caught off guard by its 80000-second cooldown. However, after reading its description, it made complete sense to him.
If he landed that skill on a target, no matter who it hit, they would be brought down to 10% of their life force.
That meant that if he struck true, he could even take down a high-platinum like his father... or even someone more powerful.
He made a decision for himself then.
He would use that skill to take down Malachi.
After he left the great hall, news swiftly began to spread of his platinum dungeon conquering.
Levian was even visited by his older brother Adam, who congratulated him on his sudden rise to high silver.
However, Levian struggled to focus on the praise.
He still had to prepare for his battle against Malachi.

The next morning, Levian woke up fully rested and his life force replenished back to full.
The natural life force recovery rate changed depending on various circumstances, however, even with injuries, sleep often brought an awakened back to 100%.
As he sat on his bed, he withdrew the epic mace he had received from clearing the platinum dungeon.

It was now a different weapon entirely.
The handle, made to be wielded with one hand, was made from a black metal wrapped in red leather. Its design was curved and edged in different areas, until reaching the head of the weapon.
The mace head seemed made from jagged glass, with a red glowing orb floating at the centre. It radiated a warmth that Levian had hardly ever felt before.
He turned the mace over in his hand and went over its stats.

Levian stared down at the mace in utter shock.
This Legendary is strong... it might not be on the level of Nyx, but it's definitely stronger than any of the other weapons he had obtained so far.
He wondered whether he should create another Legendary, and fuse the two together to create another Mythical.
However, he was afraid of drawing an entity's attention.
But the first time I did it, and the skeleton arrived in my room, it quickly ran away. And that was whilst I was still low-bronze...
His mind wondered how powerful the mace could become when mixed with another weapon to become Mythical.
Besides... if he wanted Malachi to believe his lie, then he needed to make sure that the estate felt another powerful weapon being created.
His talent was special, and he would be a fool not to utilise it.
At that moment, Levian came to a decision.
He headed to the bladeblessed armoury and snuck out with a spare mace. Then, he headed out to the forest surrounding the estate.
I'll use this to create another Legendary mace, and then fuse the results together with Crim's Lantern.
Then, I'll have two Mythical weapons to my name.
...
He only hoped that his soulspace would be strong enough to handle them.

That night...
Levian waited until sunset before heading out to the woods. After all, as a noble, he still had business to attend to, such as his daily training and studies.
Now, he sat on a wooden log by a pond, far away from the estate.
"If an entity attacks me here, I won't endanger any of the maids."
Levian wasted no time in summoning the regular mace from his soulspace and creating a legendary weapon.
It was similar to the other he had created, though it had no element, and it emerged much larger, designed to be wielded with two hands.
He glossed over the weapons stats before putting them back into his soulspace next to Crim's Lantern.
With the two weapons alongside Nyx, he felt a great pressure resting on his being. However, now a rank higher than he was when first holding a mythical it was much less than before.
He then felt his Weapons Fusion talent activating, and the two Legendary maces became one.
The pressure on his soul grew immense.
It feels like I'm being crushed!
Suddenly, it felt as though an aura was being released from his body, which startled the birds in the trees and the ducks I'm the pond.
Readying himself with a deep breath, Levian finally summoned the new weapon into his hands.
[MYTHICAL WEAPON ACQUIRED!]
[HEARD BY THE GODS]
[AN ENTITY IS APPROACHING!]
The weapon landed in Levian's two hands, heavy and glowing white and gold.
However, before he could admire the weapon any further, a hole in the sky above him suddenly tore open.
A white light bright like the heavens beamed through the gap, shining light upon the entire forest below.
And then, an angel descended. Trident in hand, and eyes glaring down at the youngest member of the bladeblessed family.
