4Chapter 1

Aleister groaned, his head ached and he felt like he had on his 18th birthday after drinking a bit to much. Forcing himself off his old couch, the 22 year old felt... Strange. Just what happened to him last night? He walked over to his kitchen to prepare himself some breakfast when it hit him.

The Entity, the thing. It had appeared to him as a colorless yet colorful blur, ever-shifting in shape, he couldn't describe it and every time he tried remembering a detail seemed different. But he remembered what it had promised.

Shakily he raised his hand, green lines spreading across his skin as suddenly, the bread bag on the other side of the kitchen was in his hands. He stared in shock, he had... He had just used magic, real, actual magic! (He knew it was called Magecraft, but how he knew that he had no idea, but it sounded more impressive to call it magic).

The dream was real, he had powers, not just the ordinary powers of a Cape, but powers beyond his current world. It was incredible, and he wasn't ignorant to why the entity had chosen him.

Aleister was a selfish man, a controlling man. He always had to be the boss, and it was why he often had trouble keeping a job for long (His current job was at a cafe, and he wasn't ignorant to the fact he'd likely soon be fired for how he acted to the other employs and even his manager), the fact he often let female costumers get away with paying less didn't help there... But with powers? Powers that he knew could evolve to the point he could displace peoples souls? Mad science that could match even Tinker-Tech?

He could rule, he could finally make himself the leader he deserved to be. A grin spread across his face, yes!

But quickly he frowned, he couldn't let himself fall to his vices so easily. He was okay on money for now, but he'd need more. And even with Transmutation, he'd still need large amounts of supplies and an area to work, a... Workshop, yes a workshop. Not to mention if he did go about stealing things to sped up his work, he'd need to create a Cape identity.

If needed to think, and plan. He likely had a resistance to Thinker and Precog powers thanks to his own coming from an entirely separate reality, but that wouldn't stop them from figuring him out eventually. Not to mention, Brockton Bay had plenty of issues to deal with.

The gangs were bad, while he could probably deal with some Merchants, Lung was someone he wanted to avoid. The PRT stomped down any new villains as fast as they could, before the villains could take root, but they were also often to busy with the gangs. The Empire was... Well, he liked them least of all and would happily admit to having fantasies about murdering the bastards, there was only room for one ruler.

Aleister smirked, he was often fond of challenges. But there was another issue (He seemed to have many to deal with at this rate), his family.

He loved his mother and father, even his controlling nature hadn't stopped that. His siblings were precious to him as well. If he went into the crime life, he'd risk dragging them along. Which meant he needed to focus extra hard to ensure nobody connected him to his Cape identity, or convince his family to come with him.

His father would be easily convinced, ex-military he was. He had often said the bay needed someone willing to take charge and sort it out, one who could rule both justly and keep control. It could even be said his dreams of conquest and ruling had come from his father.

His mother on the hand was a sweet woman, an owner of a bakery were he had often helped out. But it was in Merchant territory, and if not for the fact his father had almost killed the last group that had tried taking his mother, he was sure she'd... No, he couldn't think on that right now. He'd deal with the Merchants, clear our the territory his beloved family lived in.

His siblings, although they were not his flesh and blood they were without a doubt his siblings. Two little sisters who looked up to him, who he had promised he'd give a better life, one where they could enjoy all the world had to offer. He wasn't ignorant to the fact they'd grow up to be beauties, and he'd seen far to many filthy and dirtied men staring at them.

He needed to make plans, research, and gather supplies. One couldn't rule or create a gang without planning, he twirled a spoon he held in his hands. Slowly the metal of it shifted, turning from a regular spoon into a very shard knife. He grinned, how would this work on a human body?

We now have our protagonist! Aleister Crowley, a 22 year old with dreams of conquest and ruling. I decided to start him out relatively normal person with just some dreams, but with power now thrown into his hands, he can do more then dream.

His family situation is pretty normal, but since this is Worm and we can't have nice things, his mother and sisters are being looked at by the Merchants for... Well you can figure that out. Giving Aleister his first clear goal, DESTROY THE MERCHANTS!

Since this is a supervillain quest, you guys will get rewards for completing Missions! Missions will be explained in the missions in Index, where you can also find the character sheet!
