CHAPTER 10: CITY VARIOUS SEASONS PART 3
When they returned to the Ranch, Young Ma asked Adrian to take care of the animals, while he went to rest. It was already midnight.
Adrian nodded. As he looked at such animals.
It was the first time he had seen such beings, in the forests there were only wild beasts, his character had been forged after surviving dangerous situations daily.
On the ranch there were pigs, cows, sheep, and chickens, this would be normal for a ranch, if it weren't for the fact that such animals had several bruises all over their bodies. In addition to blood-red eyes and bulging veins, it was something terrifying for anyone, but these animals were docile, they only needed to be fed so that they did not cause any harm.
Anyone would be afraid to take care of these animals, but Adrian wouldn't, he just did his job. Before his city ceased to exist, his father taught him quite a few trades, even though he is now only 7 years old, he has never forgotten them.
To remember them was to keep the image of his family alive.
As time passed, from the second floor of the house, the grandmother watched as Adrián took care of the animals, while the young man for some reason escaped secretly.
The old lady did nothing to stop him, she knew he would come back.
The morning arrived and a new day began, Adrian watched as the sunlight shone on the horizon.
In addition, a smell of food came from the house.
"Let's eat!" – shouted the grandmother from the house, which was heard almost throughout the ranch.
Adrian at that moment, began to walk towards the house, however, he saw how Young Ma appeared from a bush, who seemed to smell of alcohol, and had a smile on his face.
Young Ma told him not to say anything, as they both entered.
When they both entered, they walked into the kitchen, while a variety of dishes were prepared, the grandmother hummed a happy song.
On the table were breads, red eggs, juice, pork, and other varieties. It seemed that this was normal, so Young Ma sat down.
"What do we celebrate today, grandma, that someone came back to life" – Young Ma spoke calmly, while grabbing a loaf of bread.
Grandma just hummed one more time before answering her.
"Idiot slave, that is only said when we are all together" – The grandmother hit Young Ma's head, while he was holding his head.
Adrian saw the large number of dishes, as well as a pleasant smell, it had been a long time, since he had eaten at a table.
"Answering your question, in two days my husband will return"
"Cought! Cought! Cought! Grandpa is coming back!" – When Young Ma heard this, he coughed non-stop, and his face turned pale. The grandmother was not interested in it, while she gave him another blow on the head.

This time, it would be even more dangerous than before, or so he suspected. So he began to devour all the dishes as if it were his last meal.
Adrián ate them slowly, each bite was like a memory of his home.
But he knew he wasn't, after eating a little more, he thanked the food before leaving for the ranch. Grandma looked at this with interest, and when she looked at her slave's bum, she gave him another blow on the head.
"Get to work!" – The young man immediately left for the ranch.
Today Adrian was free, or so Young Ma told him, it seemed that he was scared by something.
He also gave him five coins, it was his payment for yesterday, the grandmother paid for the work done, and he had no right to spend that money.
After leaving the ranch.
Adrian on his way to the commercial places. As a slave, many of the merchants did not look upon him as a person. They were only shouting towards the guards and the hunters.
