CHAPTER 14: THE FORBIDDEN CITY SPIRAL POINT. PART 2

A huge roar shook all the living beings in the entire city, it seemed that this beast could sense the abnormalities of spiritual energy in the environment. So he could detect that something was happening in that destroyed pavilion.

When Old Sam and Grandpa felt it, they knew something was wrong.

"A beast of the seventh level of Qi condensation, I thought they would never come near this place" – Old Sam spoke, even though it was loud, the beast's roar made him tremble.

Grandpa only frowned, he knew they were in a big bind, but, if they missed this opportunity, it would be forever.

"We have to kill her in the worst case, you two stay here, take everything you can, and escape as quickly as possible, we will try to stop that beast, you understood!"

"Yes"

Grandfather gave his grandchildren some directions, while they both nodded, and went off with old Sam. Once they came out, the rumblings were not long in coming, while the beast roared loudly.

"We must just wait, and then leave" – said Young Ma, with a marked terror on his face.

"Once we come back I will propose to the beautiful Me, yes, we will get married and we will be happy" – He began to babble some incoherently.

Adrian was watching for the moment, the lantern, like the bars, worked in a mysterious way, he knew that there were spiritual treasures, which cultivators often used. Now I could see them in full operation.

As the old seals were slowly shattered, the rumbles began to become more ferocious, even a small tremor moved the debris on the roof, causing it to crack.

Adrian looked at all the tears. His thought was swift and steady, so he moved quickly towards the young Ma who was babbling. And I push it.

At that moment a great tremor sounded throughout the place, as the roof collapsed, and the seal on the door was completely broken.

At that moment Adrián moved quickly and entered the pavilion.

"No! Little boy!" – Young Ma shouted, he could feel that the little boy had saved him at the last minute, but everything had happened so quickly.

However, he didn't stay long, he could see that there were more cracks around him, so he ran to the exit as fast as he could.

When he came out, Old Sam, Grandpa looked at Young Ma, they quickly felt that something bad had happened.

"Where is your little brother!" shouted Grandfather, not caring that the beast was near him.

"The... he saved me, and he got trapped, forgive me grandpa!" – Young Ma knelt down apologizing.

Grandfather felt a little pain in his chest, but immediately old Sam brought him to his senses.

"Now is not the time to get emotional, then we can look for it" – Hearing his words, they resumed the attack on the giant beast. At the same time they devised an escape plan.

At that moment, the pavilion fell to the ruins.

Adrián had managed to enter at the last minute, his physical body had helped him.

The whole place was very dark as night, luckily, there was still the fire of the lantern. Which began to light up a little around him.

Adrian knew that this was a grower's pavilion, so he didn't take anything lightly.

With great caution, I advance throwing stones around him.

However, he felt that this place was different, when he went a little deeper, he could see that there were several long chairs on each side, plus several candles all over the place. Multiple bodies everywhere, some hanging from the ceiling, others prostrate on the floor. All of the bodies had some items glowing on their bodies.

When Adrian moved a little further, he suddenly felt something touch his foot. I look down, there was a very old sign. However, there was a text beveled with silver.

"HOLY CHURCH OF TRUTH" – A great text as if it could never disappear, was read in all its splendor. All the corpses were prostrate towards a figure. When Adrian moved his lamp a little closer, he could see an altar at the end. On the altar, the shadow of a person kneeling and holding a candelabra could be noticed.

Adrian noticed it, but he was still careful, with every step he took. It moved slowly, but absolutely nothing was happening. He also didn't want to disturb the dead around him, so he didn't look for anything in them.

He just slowly approached. He didn't know anything about this place, not because old Sam and Grandpa were looking for him, but as far as he could tell, all these people had objects all over their bodies. Perhaps if it were anyone, greed would have already invaded them. But Adrian didn't, he was very careful in these places.

I only advance, until I reach the altar, where more and more bodies appeared, including some texts on their bodies, and others with large vases full of treasures.

All of that was very valuable, but I just ignore it. It wasn't that I didn't want any of that. But, he always wondered, why they appeared as soon as he advanced. That was his way of not getting lost, asking himself the why of things.

Besides that he was a child.

When he arrived at the Altar, he was able to fully observe the kneeling person along with his chandelier, however, at that moment, the sound of a doorbell rang.

When all the candles were lit in unison, he lit up.

"This is..." – When the light arrived, it showed all around it, a lot of treasures, garments, texts, swords, bowls, plants, coins, among other objects, there were so many that anyone who looked at them, would immediately rush towards them.

But Adrian simply ignored them. No matter how many treasures there were, it wouldn't calm the hatred he felt for heaven itself, nor would it give him back his family. Only by becoming strong, he could achieve impossible things.

He didn't care about any of the treasures around him. I just look straight ahead, at the altar.

On it was a mask, the mask was white, it seemed that there were no signs of deterioration from time.

When he looked at her, it seemed as if the mask was looking at him, at the same time that the chandelier of the corpse in front of him began to sound.

Several knocks sounded in unison, when a choir sung by hundreds of people reverberated behind Adrian as he turned around. The bodies numbered in the thousands, which prostrated themselves before the altar.

A great noise followed by a tremor which made the whole room tremble, accompanied such a song.

"What's going on?" – Adrián wondered when an infinity of pleas began to sound, all these rumblings made him cover his ears and fall and vote a mouthful of blood on the ground.

When his blood fell, the altar began to collect every drop. Adrian didn't know what was happening. But I felt that this was a bad omen.

So he quickly activated his physical body to the limit, wanting to escape from this place. It seems that he himself was caught in a trap when he decided to move forward, he had not realized it until it was too late.

But the moment I try to escape.

From the corpse of the person next to the altar, several skeletal hands came out, which pierced Adrian's body. Two of his arms next to his feet were crushed into a bloody mass, as well as his stomach as he was propped to the ground with enormous force.

"Buagh!" – Adrián let out several mouthfuls of blood, despite his physique, in front of that corpse, he was nobody. Even at this moment, his desperation to live was greater than the fear he felt. Even with his body crushed, trying to let go in every possible way.
