Sukuna stood there with Karin passed out in his arms. He gave her a little shake, but she was completely out. She was breathing and didn't have any physical damage. Years of medical training at least told him that she was unharmed.

"You brat..." A roar came from the front. It was the Raikage, who was emitting lightning all over his body like he was about to evolve into Mega Raichu...

Sukuna's own cold, dead eyes landed onto the kage's furious ones. He didn't say anything; anger and cold hard ruthlessness, developed by years of Sukuna's experience, came forth. He swiftly, by the side of his eyes, calculated where the other shinobi was standing with Hinata first.

"Are all Kumo shinobi a bunch of thieves and kidnappers, going after little girls, you pedokage..."

"Bastard, you'll die for what you did."

The Raikage's anger grew high, and he immediately shot toward Sukuna. Though he was a bit hesitant, baiting Sukuna to teleport before he gained his full speed. Fighting against Minato in the Fourth Shinobi War had given him enough insight on those who could use the Flying Thunder God technique.

Sukuna, to his surprise, didn't teleport. He just stood there, letting the Raikage's meteoric punch hit him. Or at least that's what it looked like.

The Raikage's punch never connected, went right through Sukuna like he was an illusion. The Raikage's eyes widened, and in his mind as well, he only thought that… illusion.

It was no illusion.

Sukuna completely ignored Raikage A and raised his hand forward, a discreet Dismantle directed right at the last Kumo ninja who was holding Hinata.

A slicing sound came. The Kumo shinobi suddenly felt gravity dragging his body down. He experienced a fall. His legs were cut off out of nowhere. His mind only asked, How?

Before he could fall though, Sukuna arrived there with the Hiraishin tag he left with Hinata and scooped up that girl as well.

"Honestly... do these princess types get some kick out of getting kidnapped or something..." Sukuna grumbled.

With both girls in his arms, he sighed in relief, eyes for a second flickering to the Raikage who was boiling over in anger.

He could just get out of here now with Hiraishin. The Raikage couldn't stop him.

However, he didn't. He first used Kamui to send both girls into the Kamui dimension. The space rippled, sucking both of them away.

The Raikage saw it and mentally filed away all of the techniques the Konoha brat used. The casual display of space-time jutsu he saw made him alert about the enemy. Not to mention, he didn't even notice how his subordinate got his legs cut off.

"OH... almost forgot..." Sukuna casually flipped his hand. The Kumo ninja who was losing blood on the ground was beheaded in an instant...

The Raikage froze. He didn't see the attack. And then anger exploded in him. All of his subordinates were beheaded right in front of his eyes.

"You," the Raikage roared, chakra exploding outward, trees bending away from him. "You dare—!"

Lightning chakra surged around his body, forming his armor in an instant. The ground cracked beneath his feet as he launched forward, faster than thunder.

Sukuna barely shifted.

The Raikage's fist passed through him.

Kamui once again established that it was the most broken ability under Six Paths level, and even then it held very strong on its own.

The punch tore through empty space, shattering a boulder behind Sukuna instead. Sukuna reappeared a step to the side, eyes sharp as his Mangekyō tracked the Raikage's every move.

"What's your name, brat... I'll send your head to Konoha once after digging the rest of your body six feet underground..."

This level of provocation was nothing for Sukuna. 'My mother literally gets under my skin better than him...' he scoffed.

By all means, he could just get away from here. He saved both girls; there was no reason to fight. However, he wanted to kill this guy...

'If I let him live, then he will come after me or someone I know... I don't want that shit... just fucking kill him and be done with it. If war comes, then I'll cut them as well.'

At least that was his mindset after years of brainwashing himself. Be good with friends and ruthless with enemies.

And only a dead enemy is a good enemy...

"For a man who's about to die..." Sukuna said flatly, "don't you think you're too noisy..."

That did it.

The Raikage screamed and attacked again, faster, harder, every blow carrying killing intent. Sukuna vanished and reappeared again and again, teleporting with Flying Thunder God, phasing with Kamui, never staying in one place long enough to be hit.

His proficiency with Hiraishin wasn't even close to Minato; however, with Kamui, there was nothing that could touch him.

Still, Sukuna frowned.

He could keep up with the Raikage's movement using his Mangekyō. He could see the attacks coming.

But his body couldn't always react in time.

'He's way too fast.' Sukuna grumbled.

Just as another one of the Raikage's lightning-charged fists failed to land on him, Sukuna twisted his body just for a second and had an opening when he wasn't in Kamui state.

"Kai..."

He sent three powerful Dismantles at the Raikage with lightning-fast speed. They hit the Raikage like real sword strikes, making him stumble back at the sudden hit.

However, nothing happened. No blood, no cut—only a minor scratch which was only visible under Sukuna's extreme ocular power.

"Tch."

He flicked his hand again, pouring more CE into them.

The invisible slash tore forward—only to scatter once again against the Raikage's lightning armor, leaving shallow cuts.

The Raikage laughed, a deep, furious sound. "So that's how you kill my subordinates. Invisible blades. Damn you..." He roared, his anger rising as he recognized how dangerous Sukuna was.

His urgency to kill Sukuna here and now, before he completely grew up, was multiplying.

Sukuna's eyes narrowed. If Dismantle wasn't working against that lightning armor, then he had to engage in close quarters against the Raikage...

Not that taijutsu would do much against that lightning armor either. What he had in mind, if Dismantle didn't work, was his de facto strongest attack—Cleave—which needed physical contact to activate...

'That means he has to deactivate Kamui when touching the Raikage, leaving him vulnerable there.'

And did he care...

Nah uh...

Sukuna calmed himself, bringing his utmost focus to the fight when fighting a speedster.

Watching a lightning-charged fist coming at him, Sukuna took a stance and, with all his innate timing learned by years of practice, punched forward with CE enforcing his body to the limit.

Both fists collided anime-style, amassing enough energy to break open a dam.

And then black lightning erupted like a volcano around Sukuna's fist.

The Raikage's own lightning was overpowered.

The impact sent shockwaves through the forest.

The Raikage skidded back a few steps. His hand felt like it hit iron, numb for seconds.

He looked down. Thin red lines marked his arm.

"...Black Lightning," the Raikage said slowly, disbelief mixing with fury.

That was a Kumo technique, and the way this brat used it was completely different from how Darui used it.

At the same time, Sukuna entered the Zone—that one state of mind where his CE was in harmony and worked at 120%.

Sukuna didn't smile though. The new clarity made him realize something. "I should have lifted the binding vow before that attack..." he grumbled, cursing himself for forgetting he was still at 50%, and quickly tossed his messy pink locks behind.

Almost an explosion of cursed energy surged from him, instantly lifting his binding vow and reaching a 150% height on his Curse Energy. Increasing his CE defense and, to some degree, even his own output.

The Raikage felt the pressure but couldn't tell the difference between normal chakra and Curse Energy.

He did, however, know this now—that he had underestimated this brat.

And that was when, as if they had a tacit understanding, both exploded into motion again.

The Raikage was faster. Stronger. Every hit carried monstrous power. Sukuna avoided, warped, teleported, but even he was starting to feel the strain.

A fight between a monster who doesn't even feel any hit and a monster you can't hit—who would win?

"Run all you want!" the Raikage shouted, slamming a fist into the ground, lightning erupting upward. "But take my word, you're not going out of here alive, you Konoha brat..."

Sukuna clicked his tongue, pondering teleporting away just to mess with him after he said this...

He vanished again—reappearing above.

Lightning met fist.

This time, Sukuna didn't dodge.

Cursed energy flooded his body, dense and violent, warping the air around him. The pressure crushed the ground beneath his feet.

Once again, both collided, and in terms of pure physical power, they were almost neck and neck, only Sukuna taking the edge when his fist kissed the black.

Not that it did anything to the hulking man. Even Black Flash was incapable of penetrating through the Raikage's lightning armor.

Cleave.

That was the only technique which could work now.

However, landing it was harder. In that split-second touch, it was almost impossible to activate the technique.

Just as another collision was about to take place, Sukuna activated his Kamui and dodged instead of colliding headfirst against the Raikage. The next second, his hand found the Raikage's side when he spotted the opening.

The invisible blade carved forward, biting through lightning armor like paper. Cleave tore through the lightning armor into miniature blocks of lightning chakra before sinking deeper into the flesh.

For the first time, blood burst from the Raikage's side as he was thrown back, skidding across the ground.

For the first time, the Raikage coughed up blood.

"This..." The Raikage's eyes widened, seeing his lightning armor penetrated.

"So that's it," he growled. "That's what you were hiding." He growled.

Sukuna exhaled slowly. His body screamed under the strain. Keeping up with the Raikage's speed was like trying to understand rap at 10x speed.

He started to pant by reacting at that level of speed.

The little satisfaction he had from seeing the Raikage bleed was taken away when he saw the wound wasn't deep. It was shallow, like it was made by a small pocket knife.

On anyone else, it would have been a substantial wound, but the burly man in front of him—not so much.

Much like how Gojo or Yuji suffered under Sukuna's weakened domain with their CE reinforcement.

The Raikage surged forward again, faster than before, adapting, pushing beyond his limits.

They collided.

Fist against fist. Elbow against knee. Bone against cursed flesh.

Each impact sounded like thunder.

Sukuna landed another Cleave—Raikage answered with a headbutt that cracked Sukuna's skull, catching him exactly when his Kamui was off.

Blood ran down Sukuna's face.

"Ah... so that's how it is... You have to lift that space-time jutsu when you wish to attack..." The Raikage smirked, wounds accumulated on his body, but he was still going strong.

He laughed.
