Chapter 11 Amanda's POV
As I slowly opened my eyes, the warm sunlight streaming through the windows highlighted Onyi's peaceful face. We were still wrapped in each other's arms,a testament of a peaceful night we shared. I smiled feeling a sense of contentment wash over me.
"Good morning" I whispered my voice husky from sleep.
Onyi's eyes fluttered open like some delicate puppy, and he smiled back at me, his gaze soft and adoring. Both Amy and I purred.
"Good morning, Amanda" he replied, his voice gentle.
I felt a surge of affection as he nuzzled his face against my neck, his touch sending shivers down my spine. We lay there for a moment, enjoying the quiet morning, and the warm from each other's bodies.
Then my stomach growled, breaking the silence. Onyi's eyes sparkled with amusement but he didn't tease me, he's still getting used to me.
I chuckled feeling a bit self conscious "I guess I'm hungry" I said smiling at him
I got out of bed and pulled the curtains, revealing the palace's grand architecture. "Let's get some breakfast my love" I said, my eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'll show you around the palace later."
Onyi's eyes widened as he took in the palace opulence. "It's beautiful" he said, his voice filled with wonder.
I smiled, feeling proud to share my home with him. "I'll give you a tour okay" I promised, leading him to the balcony.
As we waited for breakfast, I pointed out the different parts of palace, explaining the history and significance of each rooms. Onyi listened intently, his eyes shinning with curiosity.
When breakfast arrived, I smiled at the servant,who bowed and set the tray down on the table. "Thank you Marcus" I said smiling at the familiar face.
Onyi's eyes followed the servant as he left and I chuckled "You'll get used to the palace staff" I said smiling at him.
As we sat down to eat,I realized I was excited to share my world with Onyi. And with him by my side,I'm ready to face whatever challenges the palace might bring.
