Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Schedule

Chapter 30: Schedule

"Ha ha, I don't have any hair gel. Who would bring that to class anyway?"

Gawain said with a laugh.

Unexpectedly, Tristan next to him pulled out a bottle of hair gel from his desk drawer.

Unbelievable — it actually existed!

Eikou couldn't help but want to ask, Tristan-kun, what's your actual purpose for coming to school?

"I really do have it, but I need it too," he said.

"Tristan, don't forget who risked his life yesterday to get your outfit back during the party!"

"Thanks, but wasn't it your fault I lost my clothes in the first place?"

"Anyway, just give me the gel already. I still have to work on the adult-level independent research topic with Artoria-sensei later!"

"Then I definitely can't give it to you."

Knock knock knock.

From the hallway outside the classroom, loud and forceful footsteps suddenly echoed.

Perhaps it was psychological, but Eikou and the others couldn't help but feel that these footsteps were filled with authority and presence — each step was confident and powerful. Just from the sound, they could tell it was someone important.

There was no mistaking it — this must be the new homeroom teacher!

Tristan and Eikou immediately stopped fighting over the hair gel and sat up straight, ready to leave the best possible impression on their new teacher.

Thud, thud!

The classroom door was pushed open forcefully.

A head of dazzling golden hair instantly caught everyone's eyes.

A dignified and beautiful face, eyes as green as the vast prairie, a tall and upright posture exuding the aura of a king.

Eikou stared in wide-eyed astonishment.

This bastard Tristan… his information was spot-on again.

But still...

"I am the newly appointed teacher of Class Britain, and also your homeroom teacher, the Leader of the Knights of Fianna, Fionn mac Cumhaill! In the coming semester, let me lead Class Britain down a path of radiant glory — HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The entire class fell silent, with only Fionn's confident laughter echoing through the room.

"Ehm…"

Eikou sized up the new homeroom teacher. "Definitely a textbook Brit, huh."

"A king, and he really does command a team of knights," Gawain added. "Lancer class — this lines up surprisingly well."

"If he doesn't open his mouth, he's actually really handsome, plus the blond hair. But for some reason, I feel kinda depressed…"

Tristan strummed a melancholic note into the air.

All the other characteristics matched perfectly — except the most important one: gender.

"Bro, it's yours."

Tristan handed the bottle of hair gel to Eikou.

"No thanks." Eikou waved it off.

"Huh?" Fionn looked toward the group of boys hanging their heads and sighing. "Why are you all looking down like that? Is it because the brilliance of my arrival was too blinding for you to look at directly?"

"Sensei, this is Class Greece. Class Britain is next door."

Eikou said.

All the boys turned to look at Eikou — who wore a completely indifferent expression as if nothing had happened.

What a bastard. Barely started and already trying to get the teacher kicked out!

Though inwardly disgusted by this behavior, their bodies couldn't help but want to applaud him.

Homeroom teacher Fionn furrowed his brows in confusion: "What? I went to the wrong class? Then, student, what's your name?"

"Jason."

Stop using Jason's name every time you do something shady. Tristan muttered internally.

"Ha ha ha,"

Fionn just laughed heartily,

"I've already heard you're quite a unique student, Mochizuki Eikou."

"You know me already?"

"Of course! Don't underestimate the glorious Leader of the Knights of Fianna, protector of Ireland, and the one who defeated Nuada — that's me! I do everything perfectly. Since I was going to be your homeroom teacher, I memorized the entire class roster the night before!"

"Impressive."

He may look flashy and over-the-top, but who would've thought he'd be so unexpectedly serious.

"But it seems like the boys didn't really like my entrance. Mochizuki-kun, can you tell me why?"

"Then I'll just say it straight,"

Eikou cleared his throat and seriously analyzed,

"This fanfic is currently flopping hard. Right now, we desperately need a popular female character to pull the ratings back up, or readers will leave. Characters like Artoria, the big-throw type, are super well-received and perfect for drawing readers in."

"You're a little too blunt."

Fionn stroked his chin, not quite understanding. "But someone as dazzling as me should be on par with the king of Camelot, right?"

Not even close!

Want to see the faces of the Knights of the Round Table sitting next to me? They look as disappointed as if the sky were falling!

"Anyway, let's start class — Tristan-kun, no sleeping during lessons!"

"But sensei, it's just because I have small eyes."

[Fionn mac Cumhaill has become the homeroom teacher of Class Britain.]

[He has already arranged the lesson pace and monthly schedule for you. This Wednesday, you'll be attending an outdoor class, and one week after that — the end of the month — will be the monthly exam.]

[After the monthly exam will be a break, which also happens to be the day you promised to go on a date with Morgan.]

"First is the outdoor class, then the monthly exam, and finally the date with Morgan."

The schedule was packed to the brim.

[During the break after class, your phone receives a message from Morgan. She seems to be really looking forward to the end of the month and can barely hold back her excitement for the date.]

[You receive a selfie from Morgan — this time, she's in business attire, pulling her collar down low for the camera.]

A message from her appeared on your phone.

Morgan: "Do you prefer Christian churches, or Druid temples?"

Is she asking where we should go on the date?

Eikou wasn't really interested in either architectural style, so he casually picked one: "Personally, I prefer churches."

A moment later, another message from Morgan came through.

"I've already planned out the details for our date at the end of the month."

"On the first day, in the morning we'll go to the civil office and take a simple commemorative photo (you can think of it like those booth photos couples usually take), then at noon I'll wear a wedding dress and we'll go see a priest in a church for a simple vow ceremony. In the evening, I've booked a hotel — we'll invite everyone we know to join us for dinner, how does that sound?"

"On the second day, we can spend time together in the hotel room."

Eikou nearly spat blood.

What the hell is this? This isn't even a date anymore — this is clearly aiming straight for marriage and the wedding night! There's nothing casual about this at all!

"Let's calm down and talk seriously for a moment, Morgan-san."

Before he could even send the message, a fair and slender hand gently tapped him on the shoulder.

He glanced at the one who tapped him, and was so startled he broke out in goosebumps, hurriedly hiding his phone.

The owner of that hand was — Baobhan Sith!

Long blood-red hair, a radiant and elaborate dress beneath her school uniform.

She was gazing down at him with those proud gray eyes, her stare intense and piercing.

Did she see the message just now?

"You were just texting my mother, weren't you?"

Baobhan Sith said coldly.

"Come with me to the rooftop."
