It was already nighttime. Ethan had already came to old Maple Street. it was already barricaded and some beast was seen slaughtered on the ground. it was the three eyed dogs earthly beast. The dungeon was just new .
some people was seen standing near the barricaded gate, they were about 12 in numbers about 10 male and 5 females. Ethan could notice a 15 year old girl in armour no doubt it was her first time. It was a mutant beast armour.
" hmm a first time rich girl" Ethan thought. when he joined the crowd. people started to look at him. Most people already knew him.
it was normal for a weak person like him to join in raids. Still they don't care at least they have found someone to use as bait to lure out the beasts.
of course Ethan knew this. They had used him as baits countless of times in the past. "Hmm pathetic it will be foolish of you to use me as bait this time again" Ethan smirked looking back at their prying eyes.

"hi I am Gloria May I know your. name" she asked shaking Ethan's hand . It was at this moment Ethan saw the girls features clearly. she was a beauty. she had long legs and had beautiful red hair
she grabbed Ethan's hand shaking them. Ethan was calm as he could feel her soft hand on his ." hmm I am Ethan nice to meet you " Ethan said removing his hands. the girl was disappointed she was a beauty and many guys wants her but this guy just appeared calm at her front.
" so what did you want " Ethan asked . "well as you may have noticed I just turned 15 and I want to try and become an awakened."she said . " I heard from some fellows here that a boy at my age has raided some dungeons so I figured it you since you are the only kid here"
it was true he was the only teenager at this area who constantly raided dungeons." so are you going to tell me your experience " Gloria asked . " well you just have to be careful, Even if it just a tier 1 dungeon it still dangerous" Ethan said. " is that it " she asked." yh I thought they taught you. all of it in your school" Ethan asked . " fine but don't worry too much you can stick with me when we enter " Ethan said. " I won't if I were you kid this guy is the weakest among us you should stick with me instead " a tall guy cuts in before Gloria could say ok.
" and you must be " Gloria asked. " I am James my aspect is plant control I can restrict the beast with my aspect " the tall guy about 18 said feeling proud. " don't worry I rather follow my age group you know " Gloria said pulling Ethan away from the spot. " eh poor girl if only she knows he is the bait" James smirked as he eyed the girl he should have this girl as his. "don't worry Ethan I will get you in the dungeon"
" you should follow him you know he will be the safest among the group " Ethan suggested. " that guy is a pervert I saw him eyeing me infact it not just him " she said . Ethan knew it before she told him . but what is it about this girl anyways she wants to follow him a weak guy who is not an awakened. " well we could be friends then" she said smiling. " ok" Ethan nodded.
After some while Ethan heard a familiar voice calling him . " ETHAN" he shouted drawing attention. "ah damn it why does he like to embarrass me" Ethan thought as he turned around.
"Freddie" Ethan called as he smiled. " Ethan you are here too " Freddy said running to Ethan slapping him in the back. He was a bit taller than Ethan and also was thick unlike thin looking Ethan. "yh I have been here a few times what are you doing here I thought you wanted to apply for advanced school" Ethan asked. Gloria was looking at the duo with interest.
"na there is a requirement you have to pass. you have to be an awakened before you can apply" Freddy said. unlike Ethan Freddy came from a well to do family. " oh yh I almost forgot "Ethan said scratching his head. " yes well here I am we can stick together right " Freddy asked. " yh sure you can " Before Ethan could reply Gloria beside Ethan cuts in.
" eh who is she " Freddy asked surprised he had hardly seen a girl beside Ethan. although they were together since childhood something doesn't feel right with Ethan today. it was as if he had changed to a new person.

"ok listen up it time already" a female awakened attendant came in front of the group. " it been reported that there are sightings of three eyed beast dog and goblins" she said. " so I think the boss should be at the boss level good luck with that" she said has she smiled at them and left.
"eh that should be easy " a huge guy said as he pushed a guy from the way entering the green portal. "ish what sup with this guy" a dark haired man said but didn't dare complain for long. They had seen numerous proud people before"we should appoint a leader since linn won't work today" someone suggested. " then there is no much argument let Corrie step in " someone said others agreed. Corrie was the strongest amongst them.
A dark haired guy was appointed leader. he was tall and slender and was about 20 years of age . He was holding a mutant beast spear and had a earthly beast shield. Him and James from earlier always walked together.
" well this isn't going to be a nice trip" Ethan thought he knew Corrie and James always gives him a hard time. " well things has changed I like to test my new strength" Ethan thought has he heard a sweet voice which surprised him.
