"Whatever you say," agreed Sylvie.
Mike's grin widened. "Yep. Fine by us."
Garrett watched as they all trooped down the hall. Rigby got off the couch and followed the kids, nails clicking against the wood floor.
He looked at Natalie and Susan. "What was that all about?"
Susan shrugged. "Haven't a clue. Teaching kids is a little more difficult than you thought, huh?"
Garrett nodded. "I have some things to learn."
"Do you ever," Susan muttered as she walked into the hallway. For some reason, Garrett didn't think she was referring to his parenting skills.
Garrett shoved his hands into his pockets. He rocked back on his heels, suddenly at a loss for words. Natalie walked to him and placed her hands against his chest.
"Why aren't you wearing a shirt?" she asked softly.
"I went running and I got hot," he replied, looking down at her blonde head.
She slid her palms over her nipples, making him draw a sharp breath. He grasped her arms. "Natalie, what are you doing?"
