"System," Rayden asked with a puzzled expression, "what's the use of the storage ring?"
A mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
> "Host, the storage ring contains a spatial dimension equivalent to the size of Earth. You can store anything inside—except for living creatures."
"A space… the size of Earth?"
Rayden was momentarily stunned.
After recovering from his shock, he retrieved the ring and slid it onto his right hand. Then, he transferred all of his Senzu Beans into it for safekeeping.

Boom!
In space, Cooler burst out laughing as he watched the planet Sergi begin to crumble under his supernova.
"Hahaha! Look at it—falling apart like paper!" Cooler sneered.
Suddenly, a voice echoed from above.
"Cooler… what are you laughing at?"
Rayden floated in mid-air, his energy pulsing through the skies.
"You're… alive?" Cooler's expression twisted in confusion. "I blew up that planet. How are you still standing?"
"Guess you'll have to kill me again," Rayden said coolly.
Without hesitation, Cooler charged forward, aiming a concentrated attack at Rayden.
"Enhanced Death Beam!"
A razor-sharp beam of light blasted toward Rayden's chest. But Rayden casually raised his hand and swatted it aside like an annoying fly.
"What?" Cooler's eyes widened. "What's going on? He's… stronger?!"
Bang!
Before Cooler could process it, Rayden's foot connected with his jaw, sending him flying.
Immediately, Rayden's body erupted in golden energy. A glowing dragon coiled around him as he shot through the air.
"Dragon Fist!"
The golden dragon surged forward, roaring as Rayden's punch took the shape of a dragon's head.
"Ahhhh!"
Cooler was struck head-on, his armor denting inward from the impact. Though his chest was not pierced completely, the damage was severe.
Blood dripped from Cooler's lips. His breathing became labored.
"He really did get stronger... He may have surpassed me…"
Panic set in.
If I stay here, I'll die for sure!
Cooler turned tail and fled into outer space, trying to escape.
But Rayden was faster.
"Running away?" Rayden said as he appeared in front of him, blocking his path.
"Out of my way!" Cooler shouted, firing dozens of energy blasts from both hands.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Explosions filled the vacuum of space. Smoke billowed everywhere, but as it cleared—Rayden stood unscathed.
"No… It can't be," Cooler muttered in disbelief.
His attacks… didn't even scratch him.
Rayden narrowed his eyes, placing his hands at his waist.
"Kamehameha!!"
A bright blue wave of energy burst forth.
"Noooo!"
Cooler screamed as the wave hit him head-on, pushing him back down to the planet below.
Rayden didn't even glance at the explosion behind him. He vanished using Instant Transmission.
BOOM!
Seconds after he left, the planet Sergi exploded violently—reduced to rubble in the void of space.

Meanwhile, on Earth...
Son Goku, Son Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and others were deep in training when two evil auras surged toward the planet.
Son Gohan furrowed his brow. "Dad… one of those energy signatures—it feels just like Frieza's!"
Piccolo looked surprised. "Didn't you and Rayden already take care of Frieza on Namek?"
"We did," Goku nodded, frowning. "I don't get it either."
"Hmph," Vegeta crossed his arms and smirked. "Kakarot, this time the enemy's mine."
"No way!" Goku grinned. "We'll each take one."
Piccolo raised a hand. "They're getting close. We should move."
The group launched into the sky, heading toward the source of the incoming threat.
Elsewhere, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu also felt the pressure and stopped what they were doing to join the others.

In space...
A massive spaceship hurtled toward Earth at incredible speed.
Inside stood Frieza—now a cyborg, his body reconstructed after the brutal battle on Namek. Cold metal replaced flesh where Rayden had once torn him apart.
Frieza stared at Earth through the viewport, eyes filled with hatred.
"Damn that Super Saiyan… and that Earthling. They nearly ended me…"
Behind him stood King Cold, towering in his second form.
"Frieza, this is foolish. Just destroy the planet from orbit."
Frieza's eyes narrowed. "No. That's too easy. I want to see the terror in their eyes before I crush them."
After rigorous training, both Frieza and King Cold had greatly enhanced their powers.

Back on Earth...
Goku, Vegeta, and the others landed in an uninhabited wilderness.
Vegeta scanned the skies. "This is where they'll land."
Snap! Snap!
Krillin and Yamcha touched down next to them.
"Goku! I figured you'd be here!" Krillin called out.
Goku smiled. "Glad you made it, Krillin. Yamcha!"
Whoosh!
Tien and Chiaotzu landed moments later.
"Everyone's here," Piccolo noted.
Vegeta scoffed. "And for what? You weaklings are just in the way. Leave this to the Prince of Saiyans!"
"Seriously?" Krillin muttered. "He's always like this..."
"Look!" Piccolo pointed. "They're here."
A giant spaceship descended slowly from the clouds.
Fear flickered across the faces of Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien. Even Chiaotzu trembled.
But Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo remained calm.
Buzz… Buzz…
The ship touched down, kicking up dust.
"That's definitely Frieza," Gohan said grimly. "I can feel it…"
"There's someone else too," Krillin added, his voice shaking. "And he's just as strong…"
(Back on Namek, Krillin had been killed by Frieza. The memory still haunted him.)
"If you're so scared, why'd you come?" Vegeta grunted, flying ahead without waiting.
"Don't mind him," Goku said, patting Krillin's shoulder. "Come on, let's move."
Tien whispered, "That's the Frieza you fought?"
He'd heard tales from King Kai, but now… he truly felt the fear.
"Don't worry, Tien," Goku said warmly. "I beat him once before. I'm stronger now."
They flew to a high cliff to observe from a distance.

Inside Frieza's ship...
Frieza sneered. "So this is Earth… What a cozy little place."
King Cold tapped at his scouter. "Strange. I'm not picking up any strong energy signatures."
Frieza chuckled. "That's because they can hide their power. When they fight, it explodes."
King Cold raised a brow. "Impressive. For a backwater world."
"Just leave it to me," Frieza said. "I'll lure them out."
He turned to his soldiers. "Split up. Kill every Earthling you find!"
"Yes, Lord Frieza!"
The soldiers took to the sky, spreading in all directions.
Boom!
Suddenly, a figure appeared before the ship.
Frieza froze.
The young man had blue hair, wore a Capsule Corp jacket, and carried a sword on his back.
Who is this?
He wasn't one of the people Frieza expected. His plan was being thrown off.
Frieza scowled. "Earthling. What do you want?"
The young man's tone was calm and unwavering.
"I came here… to kill you."
Silence.
Frieza blinked. King Cold tilted his head in disbelief.
"…What did you just say?"
"You heard me. I came to kill you."
Frieza's face twisted into amusement. "Do you even know who I am?"
"I do. You're Frieza."
