Reese Sinclair walked into his house to discover a candle lit dinner setting by Faiza.
She was seated at the dining table, going through her phone as she waited for him.
He stopped just by the dining entrance, and stared at her in disbelief.
It still felt like a dream to him that not only was he married to Faiza, she was pregnant with his baby.
All of his dreams were coming to pass. Just one more, and it would be finally complete.
He cleared his throat, and Faiza looked away from her phone.
She smiled when she saw Reese.
"Hey, welcome home." She tried to rise from her seat, but he swiftly gestured for her to stay put.
"It's okay," he said, as he fully walked in, and dropped his briefcase on the floor. "I don't want you stressing yourself." He placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Alright," she smiled. "I made something myself. If it's horrible, you have to tell me okay?"
Reese chuckled as he took a seat. "You made all of this yourself?" His eyes scanned all around the full table.
