The days on the island remained peaceful from the moment Lola arrived. Sure, there was chaos now and then—but the kind of chaos that made things more memorable. Even so, knowing this long vacation would be over in a few days made her feel slightly sad.
"I will miss this place," she hummed as she leaned against the balcony railing, snapping her eyes toward the vast surroundings.
From her vantage point, she could see the ocean, the hills, and the small lights from the neighboring island. Although the mansion was built on a private island, the surrounding islands were more or less secret tourist spots. So, there were a few tourists scattered on the main island.
A light chuckle escaped her as she caught faint movements from afar. The group's lively voices echoed across the island, blending with the calm waves of the ocean.
"This place… is indeed a paradise," she said aloud, just in time for Atlas to walk in.
