Adhya murmured to herself as she returned to her desk, visibly annoyed.
Seeing her, Diya asked, "What happened, Adhya? You look upset. Did the CEO say something?"
Adhya (to herself): What do I even say about that Dracula now?
Diya: "Are you okay?"
Raghav chimed in, "Don't worry about the CEO. He seems harsh, but he's just serious about work."
Adhya (forcing a smile): "No, it's nothing. He just told me to focus more. That's all."
Only on himself, she muttered internally.
Meanwhile, Reema was burning with resentment.
Reema (to herself):Diya, you turned Karan sir against me? I won't let it go. If he could reject Kanika Kapoor for me, who do you think you are?
An hour later, Diya went to the pantry to grab coffee. As she turned, Reema shoved her.
The cup fell. Diya was about to slip, but strong arms caught her. It was Karan.
Karan: "Are you alright?"
Due to her heels, Diya's foot twisted. She teared up instantly.
Diya (like a child): "It hurts a lot."
Karan's worry spiked. He scooped her up and carried her to her desk. Reema seethed with jealousy.
Karan (shouting): "Call the doctor immediately!"
The staff was stunned. They'd never seen Karan this concerned.
Karan massaged Diya's foot gently.
The doctor arrived, examined her, and said, "It's just a cramp. She'll be fine with rest and a couple of massages."
Karan: "Thank you, doctor."
He turned to the pantry staff.
Karan: "Who pushed Diya?"
No one answered.
Karan (to Reema): "I asked you."
Reema: "I don't know, sir."
Karan exploded.
Karan (angrily): "I saw you push her! And what about Adhya? Didn't you target her too?"
Adhya flinched. How did he know?
Reema (defensively): "They're lying! Maybe Adhya submitted the wrong file, or Sweta misplaced it. They're blaming me unfairly."
Karan (to Adhya): "Did she give you that file?"
Adhya: "Yes, sir."
Karan (to Sweta): "Is that the same file she submitted?"
Sweta: "Yes, sir. 100%."
Karan: "Still denying it, Reema?"
Reema: "They're framing me!"
Just then, Diya stepped in.
Diya: "I'm the proof. I recorded everything."
She played a video of Reema demeaning Adhya and misusing Karan's name.
Karan: "Still have something to say?"
Reema: "Sir, please, I'm sorry."
Karan (coldly): "You're getting two warning letters. You're removed as secretary. Back to intern duties. One more mistake and you're out."
The entire office buzzed with shock and gossip.
Reema stormed out, humiliated. Her hate toward Adhya and Diya intensified.
Later
At the secretarial department, Reema packed in frustration. Her friend Sana consoled her.
Sana: "Don't worry. I'll make sure those girls regret it."
Reema: "You're the only one who understands me."
Evening
At the entrance, Adhya helped Diya as Eva and Ruhi waited.
Eva: "Diu, are you okay?"
Diya: "I'm fine now."
Reema walked past, avoiding eye contact. The girls giggled.
Ruhi: "I wish I had seen her face when she got humiliated!"
Roy Mansion:
Kiara greeted them as they entered. Dadi noticed Diya limping.
Diya (lying): "Just twisted my foot, Dadi."
Dadi handed Adhvik an envelope.
Dadi: "Here's a photo of a girl we chose for your marriage."
Adhvik (annoyed): "Dadi, please... stop. I already like someone."
Sarika ji: "What?"
Adhvik: "Yes, Mom. But she hasn't accepted my proposal yet."
The whole family gasped.
Kiara: "What?! Did you propose too?"
Adhvik (calmly): "Yes. She's thinking about it."
Dadi: "You'll be the death of me!"
Sarika ji (smiling): "At least someone got your attention."
Adhvik smiled and walked off to his room, leaving the family stunned.
