Chapter 85 - Domination: Part 1:

Author's Note: I am not an editor or a professional writer. I will write this and edit it to the best of my ability. I also do not own Uma Musume, which is owned by Cygames. Watch the animes and read the mangas, for they are pretty good. Finally, please enjoy.

Fan Boy: Tom POV

After watching the Wellington minor, my family and I flew back to Australia. I had my friends messaging me, and once we met at the airport, we all sighed in relief. Going home, we were all so happy we were all safe, and soon the news of the battle right after made us utterly speechless. Not only did they fight against the cult, but they fucking won. My family was happy, and I was jumping for joy. I called my friends and told them the news.

We talked all night, and the next day, I knew I needed to get the broadcast to the super major. I soon talked to my wife about it, and she was happy to prepare a watch party at our house. Soon she got busy, and we started preparing for the event. My friends and the rest of my family's friends came, bringing their families. They all wanted to see the Bloody Broncos, everyone was raving about.

Plus, it was a super major that every fan wanted to see. Once the introductions and opening events were over, the races got underway. We just didn't realize we would start with something historic. It was a sprint race on a special track. One that was a straight line.

Sarah explained to all of us that this race is all about speed and nothing else. It was too fast for strategy, blocking, or pacing. No turns or hills to slow people down, so the fastest will be the victor. The Broncos sent in Agent Cobalt, the lady who broke records in the last game. Sarah and Jerome had concerns that she might not adjust well to the singles race, as she had only raced in the team race last time.

Cobalt blew that bullshit out of the water real quick. She immediately ran so fast that everyone was running to chase her. From the King of Sprinters herself, Razor Cutter, to the ultra-fast superstar King Lancealot. They ran so fast that the Uma Musume girls at the party crowded up on the screen in awe. When the race ended, everyone collapsed as they all broke the world record.

They had to be rehydrated and resuscitated before being allowed to leave, which was so epic. Everyone at the party was screaming, and the Uma Musume girls were running around and jumping for joy. That race was historic and unbelievably epic. Soon after celebrating the historic moment, the next race was set up. We didn't realize the next race would be so insane.

The Broncos sent in Agent Chestnut, a new racer we've never seen before. The camera caught her talking to nobody with absolute seriousness, running around like a mad woman, and acting like a psycho. We all knew she was absolutely mental. Soon the race began, and Chestnut didn't leave the pod until it was very late. She then ran like a crazy, chaotic storm, messing with everyone, making the race into a complete mess.

She still won the damn thing and proceeded to piss off fans and other racers. It was both insane and absolutely mental. That's when the interview happened, and she kicked a guy in the family jewels. She then found a combat military-grade knife on him, threw it at his foot, before showing a handkerchief with NRL on the handkerchief he owned. Everyone became quiet as something suspicious was going on.

The league soon showed what happened and told everyone how, in the race, Chestnut not only saved every racer from being shot but also avoided the bullets. She also took down the assassin hiding among the staff. They caught the 4 snipers and the last killer, while still searching for any more. Roger then spoke, saying," Dang, she might be crazy, but she's a hero for that." Everyone responded awkwardly except Bill and me, who looked at each other and nodded.

I yelled, saying," BILL!!" Everyone turned to us and Bill responded loudly," WHAT!!" I replied, yelling," GET THE FACE PAINT!! Those assholes want war, we tear them down!! Roger, get the FSRL flags; Sarah, get the outfits; Jerome, gather the entire fan club on Zoom. This year the NRL dies!!"!

Jerome yelled," Let's freaking go, baby!!" Then he started connecting on his laptop, Sarah started calling a friend to pick up the outfits from a storage place, and Roger and Bill left the house. It took a while for things to calm down, and he prepared after the lockdown and safety search in the stadium. That gave us time to prepare everything and start streaming ourselves online for the tournament. We are trying to spread the greatness of the FSRL to everyone to gain more fans.

We're wearing face paint, war outfits and are now connected to the fan club all around the world. We were hyping up everything as our families joined in and started sharing the stream and talking about the tournament. Everyone online who saw what happened was freaking out. Agent Chestnut became the mad hero, and a war between the two fanbases began online. Soon, the third race began, and it was an instant masterpiece by Agent Ruby.

The Quantum Ankle Breaker's video was shared by Chestnut online on the official Bloody Broncos account; it exploded and was soon put on different websites. Then the stepping stone leap, and the spinning fist was also shared. Everyone was talking about it and gloating online. Then the interaction between Ruby and Celeste made everyone ship them, and it's already forming a fan club for the future couple. It was epic as the war was blazing hotter.

Soon, the talk about the 4th race began online and at the party. The marathon between the three kings, Ivory, Walls, and Corps. Only one will stay king, and the other two's claims become irrelevant. These three have been fighting online all week and prepping for this race. Their social media teams have set the situation on fire.

All three stepped onto the field, and all are ready for war. Corps and Walls wired mini crowns as ear pieces, as both have won the King of Stayers awards for the last five years between themselves. Corps looked pissed, and Walls had a calm yet eerie demeanor. That's when Ivory went on the field wearing jewelry and a look designed to piss people off. All three of them met in the middle of the field and had a stare-down.

Ivory was grinning, Corps was gritting her teeth, and Walls was glaring. This started when Ivory claimed to be the king of stayers and did such an amazing job that everyone agreed. Now we see multiple stayers who didn't usually step into the marathon scene now training to enter it. Now every stayer had their eyes on the crown, cause they knew if they won this race, they would become the true King of Stayers. They all started speaking as the trash talk went from threats to trying to goad the others to try something.

This was getting ugly fast as everyone there was getting closer and about to fight, but soon officials rang the bell to get into the starting line. The race soon began as all the racers began running. Walls fell back, Corps rushed ahead, and Ivory went at a constant pace. His pace had gotten faster, but it was probably adapting to the competition and the field. The race was brutal too; the sun was high, the water stations now had more water, and trash cans.

Plus, more staff to assist others, with medical tents every 4 miles of this brutal race. The race is 28 miles, and the time has passed. The ones trying to match the big three started dropping like flies, forgetting their own pace. The ones that didn't expose their inexperience with it were doing terribly. No one stopped, even grabbing water; they drank, and after finishing, they threw it at the recycling bins real quick.

Once everyone crossed the final 10-mile mark, Corps started slowing down, Walls began to speed up, and Ivory sped up her pace. The others were breaking down, being pulled out until there were only three left in contention. Soon they were at the last 5 miles, and Corps was trying to recover stamina, Walls was trying to accelerate, and Ivory, who was in third place, was all side by side. They got closer and closer to the finish with everyone thinking either Walls or Corps would win, but at the last mile, the drone saw Ivory smile. They then heard her say," It's time to claim my throne."

She then, with an amazing finishing kick, burst past the other two and ran for the finish. They could only chase her down desperately as Corps went as fast as she could, and Walls let out all her reserves. It was for naught as Ivory kept extending the space between the other two. Ivory crossed the finish line, and she and everyone screamed. Ivory was roaring loudly as she celebrated.

The commentators screamed," ALL HAIL THE NEW KING OF STAYERS!!! ALL HAIL AGENT IVORY!!!" We were going wild, especially the Uma Musume girls in the room. They were bowing down on their knees to the new King of Stayers. Once Walls and Corps got through the finish, they fell face-first on the ground.

Ivory approached, bent down, and took off both their crown earpieces. She then put both on both her ears and stood up. She then spread her arms like a conqueror, and everyone chanted her name. Corps looked at her in devastation, and Walls gritted her teeth in frustration. They now had to accept the new king of stayers.

Wall White POV

It was finally time for our race. I got up from our dugout to race in the marathon. I've been preparing all week for this, strategizing and working out. I knew how important this was as it was being hyped all week. They call it the war of the three kings.

I hated how they consider Ivory a king of one race. While Corps and I have been fighting for years, fighting over the title of the king of stayers. Still, I look around as I enter the pitch, and I see new faces and racers who would have never raced in a marathon just half a month ago. This made me happy that the scene I worked hard to raise would stay alive. I hated that it was Ivory who popularized it.

I hated how egotistical and arrogant she is. She might be good and revolutionary, but calling yourself king with one race. Unacceptable. The king is right here, still alive. I then saw Corps and Ivory, and walked towards one another.

We all met in the middle and began glaring at one another. None of us is on friendly terms, and we wouldn't have it any other way. I wore my crown earpiece, given to multiple-time King of Stayers prize winners. Corps did as well, and soon Corps commented," Oh, Walls, you wore your crown, but Ivory, it seems you don't have one." I chuckled at that, but Ivory soon responded," Oh, but I do, and I'll fetch them both off your heads when I beat both of you later."

I hated her confidence in saying that, and soon we were saying terrible things to each other. Heck Ivory, who was dressed like a douchebag, was goading us to swing. We saw the other racers gathering around us as well; it seems this is going to get violent sooner rather than later. That's when we heard the bell to get to the starting line ring and whistles from the officials. They began to separate us as we all decided to do this on the field.

We all lined up at the starting line, and soon the race began. I see they enhanced everything from the staff, the medical tents, and the stations. Good, they were going to need it, as I suspect many racers will fall today. Corps immediately began sprinting away, and I fell back like usual. Ivory, though, decided on a pace that was faster, but it was still good for her.

I ran even as the others fell, trying to mimic us three. It was obvious that they were inexperienced and needed more training. Only those confident in their own style can survive the rigors of the marathon. Their style must be forged by education, experience, and hard work. At the moment, many of them are missing or lacking certain factors. Still, we move forward as the staff assists fallen racers.

I arrive at the water station to rehydrate, and after what happened repeatedly in Wellington, they put open recycling bins for the plastic cups. Now, everyone just throws them into the recycling bins after drinking their water. They even placed them so the runners don't have to stop. Soon, the race kept going as we all got closer to the finish and more people dropped out. Soon, it was almost time for me to activate my special technique.

Everyone knows it; I've used it thousands of times before. My technique was created just for me. The Final Rush. I created it to reserve energy and stamina until the very end. The longer the race is, the more advantage I have as it drains the sprinter's stamina while preserving mine.

Once I crossed the 10-mile mark, I knew it was time to begin. I activated my final kick to chase down those ahead of me while heading for the finish. People have cried how boring my style was, but I honestly don't care as long as I can use it to win. Soon, I caught up to Ivory, who was still running at the same pace.

I smirked, take that, you asshole, I am the true king of Stayers. I soon saw Corps, who was preserving energy as she ran. She was still ahead, but I knew eventually I would pass her and take the lead. Still Corps is still going strong as I try to catch up and accelerate faster. I can also feel Ivory still chasing me down from behind.

Soon, I got close as she was running low on energy, but so was I, and soon we passed the 5 miles remaining mark. We all got closer and closer to the end, but that's when I felt Ivory's presence behind me. I look back and see her smile and say," It's time to claim my throne." That's when I saw a familiar sight, a finishing kick so powerful it blasted her past both of us and into the lead. Damn it, Ivory, wait for me.

I accelerated faster to the point I was beside Corps as she was also trying to accelerate. Still, we could only see her get farther and farther away. I ran as fast as I could, but it was for naught. I remembered my childhood, not being able to run as fast as everyone, living in a constant cycle of self-deprecation and irrelevance. I discovered Marathons and saw a race I could win, a race I could rise to glory in.

I designed a racing style meant to highlight my advantages and bring me victory. I could finally be great, yet it didn't turn out that way. Even as I racked up victories, I only saw indifference and jeers, calling my style boring and predictable. This is the only way I can win, what could I do? Years passed, ignoring others as I racked up victories, titles, and awards.

It changed nothing as they gave me the name, King of Slow Marathons. I embraced it to fight against those trying to bring me down, cause I believed these people just didn't like Marathons. Then you... You appeared, and they praised you. Why was that? I looked at your video and the comments online, and I felt it: inferiority.

This feeling again, I thought I left it behind back then, yet the glory and fame changed nothing. I immediately rejected reality training and fighting to keep myself on top. I could not accept this love and passion for a race I thought everyone hated. I could not accept that they didn't hate the race, but only me. Soon enough, I came dressed in glory, ready to face my opponents.

I thought I would be the true king of stayers, but now I'm here being buried in history. I chased and chased, but I could not catch up. It was like back then again; nothing has changed. I have not changed. The finish soon came, and there the crowd was cheering, but not for me.

They cheered for her, the true king of stayers. I fell on the ground with Corps in exhaustion. Ivory gloated above us and bent down. She grabbed my earpiece and whispered to me," Next time, pick the pace and accelerate a little later. Your strategy is sound, but if you fix those two things, you can become at least a challenge to me." She then did the same thing to Corps and whispered something in her ear.

Ivory put both crowns on her ears and spread her arms in glory. Corps and I were being helped by staff, and soon I could stand and walk away weakly. That's when Fast Baller and Bio Kind, my teammates, came and helped me back to the dugout. Especially Bio Kind, who usually keeps to herself. Bio Kind then asked me," Why are you crying, Walls?"

I didn't notice I was, and I soon began to wipe my face. She then told me," Walls, it was one race you'll get her next time." I asked her honestly," Do you really think so?" She smirked at me, saying," You're my teammate, and everything that's mine has infinite potential, or I would have thrown it away a long time ago." Bio Kind was a douche like Ivory, but at least he cared.

I then nodded and verbally agreed with him as I wiped my tears. I have to train and use Ivory's advice against her. I want to reclaim my crown, and I will be victorious. Just you wait, Ivory; this isn't over yet. Not by a long shot.

Slave Corpo POV

It's so unfair how my life turned out. They tell me I run too recklessly to be a long-distance runner and yet not fast enough to be a sprinter. I didn't belong anywhere, as what I wanted to do and what I could do fit nowhere. Still, I love running and wanted to find something to be proud of. That's why, when I heard about a small team wanting to compete in the FSRL, I immediately tried out.

They were so small and desperate for members that they accepted me as a member. There I met my best friend, Bread Bath, a small-town kid only good at mile races. At least she had a place to call her own. Then one day she came to me and told me," Hey, you're fast and have a ton of stamina, so you can run for a long time. Seeing as long distance is still too fast for you, do you want to try marathons?"

I've never heard of marathons before, and soon she showed me what it was, and it caught my interest. A place where I could run as I want and win with my stamina. It was perfect, and from that day on, we were inseparable. We soon started winning and rose all the way to the majors, and there we showed what we could do. Our team did not do so much cause we lost and failed to make it to the premier.

That's why I was so angry; I lashed out, yet that didn't end my career. Bread Bath and I were soon headhunted into a new team, and we've been riding ever since. Now, after making it to the premier and earning many awards and races, I knew I had made it. Soon, everyone was calling me the King of Fast Marathons cause Walls was the king of slow marathons. I thought it was a good thing, but soon I saw no one was cheering for me.

I soon learned people thought my running had no control, and my running style was a gamble. I was hoping I could get far enough away from everyone that they couldn't catch me before I ran out of gas. Which hurt because I knew it was true. Still, I did not let it bother me because I was living my dream, and they hadn't found anyone better, so I decided to do it until the wheels fell off. I did not expect that day to come so soon.

Wellington happened, and Ivory arrived. Everyone praised her, and I saw why. Her style was perfectly controlled, amazingly knowledgeable, and greatly executed. Then she spoke, and it lit a fire within everyone. She was arrogant but talented and held nothing back. She made everyone interested in the race that everyone didn't care about.

Soon, everything before was doubted by everyone. Are you truly a great Stayer if you've never won a marathon? Was everyone who raced before irrelevant because Ivory had not arrived yet? Is she the true king of stayers? I was absolutely pissed.

She made everyone doubt my achievements, my hard work, my struggles. I rampaged, only calmed by Bread Bath, my best friend. She got me on the right track, and soon I was learning stamina preservation techniques and preparing for the super major. Still, the online war between us three was brutal, and everyone was hyping up our race.

Soon, my team was behind me as they also wanted me to win this. The day arrived, and we went to the stadium. The event was more epic than we all could have imagined. Every race had something going on, and soon the awaited match-up came. Today I wore my crown and best race outfit, and on sight I walked towards both of them.

We met in the middle, and soon the trash talk began between us three. I soon bragged, saying," Oh, Walls, you wore your crown, but Ivory, it seems you don't have one." She then smirked at me, saying," Oh, but I do, and I'll fetch them both off your heads when I beat both of you later." Arrogant prick, I'm going to crush you. We all glared at each other as things got tense around us.

Soon, the staff separated all of us and told us it was time to get to the starting line. I left and got to the very front, and soon the race began. I ran and saw people copying my style, as always. They never learn that they can't copy who I am, and all their efforts will just make a worse version of me. Still, their presence was nice, and I enjoyed the company cause I know they won't be around long.

I ran hard as I passed by water stations, getting a drink before taking a breath, and kept running. Soon, as I predicted, the idiots around me started dropping out. More and more as time goes by. Heck, I didn't even look back to see if anyone was following me. I knew I needed to get away from them as much as possible.

I remember the footsteps following me every time. A certain one is always familiar to me, Walls. Her steps chasing after me have always given me fear, cause I knew time was up. The footsteps following me are always there, but those familiar ones always remain as the others disappear one by one. Today was different, though a new set of footsteps followed me that didn't go away. It was consistent and constant.

It never went away or slowed down; it just kept going at the same rate and pace. I knew who it was; they've talked about her online for weeks. Her style, her pace, her consistency. It was Agent Ivory, and I say keep that pace, stuck behind me. Once I crossed the 10 miles remaining mark, I got far enough away to start using recovery skills.

I tried to recover my stamina and conserve what's left. Soon, I heard the same explosive footsteps I was familiar with. Walls is coming and stating his finishing chase. I've lost to that enough times to know how serious it is. Still, I couldn't panic and kept recovering energy.

I knew if I ran out, I wouldn't be able to win this race. I kept going as best as I could. I could hear Walls and Ivory behind me, and soon we ran as I kept the lead. Soon, we crossed the five miles remaining mark, and that's when I heard Ivory say," It's time to claim my throne." Like an explosion happening behind me, Ivory blew past Walls and me and took the lead.

Damn it all, I soon unleashed my saved-up energy to chase her. I couldn't catch her; my legs were too tired, and I'm almost running on empty. I ran desperately, seeing Walls by my side with energy but no speed to catch up. Soon enough, we ran through the finish line, and I fell on my face in exhaustion. They were cheering loudly for Ivory.

Something they've never once done for me. I wanted to cry at that moment. That's when Ivory came to us and bent down. She whispered something to Walls before taking her crown. Then she came to me whispering," Hey, dumbass, there's such a thing as fast pacing; use it while conserving energy; it'll help your abilities shine better. Next time, come at me with a challenge."

She then grabbed my crown and put both crowns on each of her ears. She then stood up and posed like a conqueror, claiming their crown. I hate her so much, and soon the staff came to help Walls and me out. Once I got rehydrated and could walk again, I left, and there Bread Bath was waiting for me at our section. She got close to me and held me, saying," It's okay, you can cry."

That's when I let it all out and started bawling on her shoulders. The rest of my team tried to make me feel better. Now I feel bad for the problems I caused them. Well, first apologize and thank them. Second, work hard to beat Ivory's ass off my throne.

High Spice POV

Today is the day, baby. Today, I will prove myself as the true king of stayers. Today, I show that the title is earned through support and conquest, not through awards. I've been stocking the fire for weeks, and now I have built an audience for the event. I even dressed appropriately as an asshole, trying to piss everyone off psychologically.

The bling I got also works both ways, 'cause when I win, I look brighter than everyone else. Once we got to the stadium, the president came to greet us, and soon I knew today would be an amazing day. Soon, I was proven correct at a level higher than I could have imagined. The first race was a record-breaking performance. The second was a heroic act, saving everyone and everything.

The third race a show like no other. I might have brought all the viewers here, but damn, my teammates were stealing the show. Still, I refuse to be outshone. Soon it was my turn to race, and I knew what I was dealing with. Today was a long race at 28 miles and plenty of water stations. I wanted to do a faster pace to show you can change pace speeds for everyone and still succeed.

I trained hard to do just that and had help from coaches and my teammates. I also studied my known opponents and knew how to deal with both of them. Soon, I left our area to enter the field and soon saw both of them. Guess it was time to greet my foes. I wanted this to be competitive like nothing else, so I needed to stoke the flames higher.

We all met in the middle, and soon I started our trash talk session. All the cameras were watching as I goaded them both on. Corps even had the nerve to say," Oh, Walls, you wore your crown, but Ivory, it seems you don't have one." It was perfect and adorable as I responded with," Oh, but I do, and I'll fetch them both off your heads when I beat both of you later." I meant it; I'm taking those damn mini crowns on their ears and putting both on my ears.

Later, I'll melt them with my bling to create one crown on my head. We all had our face-off with tensions rising around us. That's why the horn sounded off to line up, and the staff coming was perfect. Now everyone knows we are serious. Soon we lined up, and the race began.

Walls fell back, and Corps rushed forward. I kept my pace, which was faster than last time. Both Walls and Corps are very talented but lack knowledge. Walls' strategy is brilliant, but her pace is too slow, and her charge comes too early because she's always way behind. Corps lacks pace and runs too fast like a dumbass and runs out of energy by the end. Corps needs to get a pace and use his conservation strategies throughout the race instead of just at the end.

Which I know she'll do cause she's been hinting at it in our arguments, like she forgot it was a secret. Now I knew my strategy and kept my pace throughout the race. The idiots copying us are dumb cause they haven't trained in our style and are doing it blindly. The others doing their own style aren't at our level and lack experience. Each of them began dropping like flies throughout the race.

Gosh, they suck at this, maybe I need to say something later in my cause to make this race better. Soon enough, the race reached the 10-mile mark, and Walls began her chase. Corps also began to slow down and begin her recovery process. Too early for Walls and too late for Corps. Soon, Walks passed me, but I stayed calm, knowing it was too early at the moment.

When we got past the 5 miles left mark, I smiled. It was finally time. I soon told the two of them," It's time to claim my throne." The camera drone watching me heard it too, and I grind before activating my technique. KiWi called it the Eternity Kick because the effect of my final kick lasts forever until I stop it myself. I burst past both of them as I looked at their shocked faces.

I was laughing maniacally on the inside. They couldn't catch me as I ran faster and faster. Thanks to Jo and ImP, I was able to extend my burst and go faster than I ever could before. This technique felt like magic. Soon I crossed the finish, and the crowd was screaming.

The commentary was screaming, and the crowd was either bowing down or cheering uncontrollably. That's right, I am the King of Stayers. I roared like Jungle Pocket in the Uma Musume movie. They cheered harder, and soon both Walls and Corps arrived. They both fell face-first towards the ground in exhaustion; it's what you get if you have no pace.

Soon, I approached them to do what I claimed earlier. Still, as I took both crowns, I whispered advice to both of them. Why, you ask? Because I want both better competition and to do my duty as a king. My duty is to make sure my kingdom prospers and survives even when I'm not there.

I want marathons to explode in popularity and have a future. One day I'm going to have to retire, and I want this racing scene to survive my leaving. That is the duty of a king. I soon got both crowns and put both on my ears, and soon x-posed above both of them while screaming like a conqueror. Soon the staff came, and I left for the interview.

There, the interviewers gave me water and a towel as the time ran out. Soon the interview began, and the interviewer asked me," Ivory, congratulations, how does it feel to become the overall King of Stayers in people's eyes?" I then grabbed the mic and spoke, saying," Enough small talk, Susan, it's time to do my duty as king and make sure my kingdom thrives. Challengers to my throne, what the fuck was that performance? First, the copycats, you're the worst; you expect to just replicate the styles we created for ourselves and succeed?"

I then gave them a look and continued," Nah bitch, you have to create your own style fit for you, your own pace, your own rhythm, not just copy what we do. You can take inspiration from others, but not steal the thing and expect the best version of it. The people who didn't copy us- good job, but you still suck. Raise your stats and your experience, and you'll soon make it to our level. Now I already told Walls and Corps their pieces of advice, so now we're done."

I then turned to the interviewer and told her," Here you go, Susan, thanks for the interview." Everyone was speechless after my interview, and soon I left to go back to the base after handing them back the mic. Now I got back, and my teammates were saying I was rude and I was an asshole. I told them it's what they needed to hear to make them better. They accepted that answer, and soon they told me how everyone was cheering and reacting to the people dropping out one by one.

The reaction of the teams as their teams began dropping out and breaking down was entertaining to watch for everyone. I laughed, asking for the replay. I want to post it online, making a statement about true stayers versus false stayers. It was mean, and it was fucking perfect. I own this kingdom now, and it needs to be strengthened.
