In the middle of nowhere in the antarctic, Shield had found a massive energy signature under the ice.
Nick fury, fearing that it would be another invasion force ready to strike, immediately sent his agents to uncover whatever was hiding under the ice. And to destroy it if it was hostile.

The agents arrived into the artic, and located the energy signature, they set up equipment and used a generator to power a drill.
With the drill, the ice shattered, and as the ice broke, the team of agents couldn't believe their eyes as a coffin was revealed, it was made out of stone and had a symbol on its surface. and the coffin radiated an ominous aura.
They looked at each other, unwilling to get closer.
But as they were about to argue on who would get it, they were all knocked out by the hydra agent hiding among them, and they looked at the coffin in greed.
"Agent 6 reporting for duty, I have found the perfect energy source for our experiments." He smiled as a hydra aircraft picked up the coffin, excited for the payment.
The last thing going through his mind was a bullet fired by a soldier.

The coffin rised up into the sky, carried by the helicopter.
And to lower suspicion, they disguised the coffin as a crate. They soon left the site and entered a secret base, hidden from sheilds gaze.
The coffin was detached from the helicopter and was taken inside to research.

The scientist all gathered around a monitor, it giving out an ominous light. It showed a deep scan on the coffin. Inside it was a massive gathering of energy, with a humanoid inside radiating that energy like it was heat.
The scientists had discovered a being of enormous power, and they thought they could use him to create a super soldier serum.
They opened the coffin, thinking that the humanoid wouldn't wake up, and extracted it.
It was inside armour that by all testing done, was completely invunrable to any damage. But the armour was still taken off, using release buttons on the armour.
The being inside looked like a male human, with dark brown hair and a face that looked old but without wrinkles, with scars maring his whole body.
A scientist, Dr. Drok, took a syringe, and tried to take a blood sample. But the needle just broke on contact with the skin.
Perplexed, Dr.Drok continued to try to break the skin, with every attempt failing. The only option left was a sample of vibranium.
So, the leader of the scientists, Dr.halls, requested to use the vibranium, and in a few days, the supplied vibranium was given.
Now armed with a vibranium drill, they finally broke the skin, and they injected a syringe into the wound to extract the blood.
The blood glowed am ominous red, power coursing through it like electricity.
They put the sample into a scanner, and the results terrified the researchers.
There equipment couldn't fully comprehend the power, only giving out an error.
The report only made the higher ups furious, and decided to cut losses, they thought the scientist were inept and had captured a regular person and fabricated the whole senerio to get a pay rise, destroying the base with an army of soldiers.
All of the scientists died, and the tried to kill the human, but there bullets only bounced off, so they just locked him back into the coffin, then, they left explosives in the base to make sure that if it was ever discovered, there would be nothing but ash and rubble.
The explosion that took place in the base was I bit too powerful, causing a coal reserve under a town nearby to take flame, causing the resistance to leave their homes from the threat of fire.
With the base neutralized, hydra went back to figuring out how to mass produce the super soldier serum, and sheild to investigate the site of the coffin, confused on what happened.
And for the doom slayer to wait in the coffin, waiting until he is awoken.
And the sample, to be used by the last member of the science team, one Dr.drok, to make a timer that would wake the slayer in two months time.
