Han Nari couldn't sleep.
Her chest felt heavy after Lee Joon's rooftop confession:
"I didn't walk away because I didn't feel it.
I walked away because I did."
What was she supposed to do with that?
Outside – Late Night
She stepped out into the cool Jeju air for some fresh air… and found Park Hyun standing under the lantern-lit walkway, holding a warm canned coffee—her favorite.
"Couldn't sleep either?" he asked gently.
She shook her head.
They sat on a bench near the beach, waves humming in the distance.
Then he turned to her—serious, nervous.
"Nari… I like you."
Silence.
She blinked.
"I know we're different. But you're kind. You see people. And for the first time, I don't feel invisible."
Her heart pounded—not with love, but panic.
This wasn't the confession she'd prepared for.
Meanwhile – Balcony Above
Unseen in the shadows above, Lee Joon had walked out to clear his head… and froze when he heard Hyun's voice below.
When he saw Nari's stunned expression.
His grip on the railing tightened.
Back on the Bench
Hyun smiled softly. "You don't have to answer now. I just needed you to know."
He gently placed the coffee in her hand and walked away, his shoulders shaking—but proud.
Nari sat there, torn in half.
