Chapter 11 - Tell Me You Forgot Me-But Say It Without Shaking

The rooftop was cold.

Han Nari sat on the ledge, knees pulled in, hoodie zipped up tight.

Lee Joon didn't sit beside her right away.

He stood, arms crossed, eyes staring at the horizon like it was safer than looking at her.

Then he broke the silence.

"Do you ever regret it?"

Nari turned. "Regret what?"

"Us."

He finally sat next to her. Not touching. But close enough to feel the tension in the air.

"I don't regret it," she said quietly.

"But I regret how it ended."

Joon's voice was low.

"I didn't leave because I stopped feeling something.

I left because it got too real…

and I didn't know how to handle you."

That broke something in her.

Her voice cracked:

"You weren't supposed to handle me. You were supposed to stay."

The wind blew.

Silence fell.

Their eyes locked.

Then—

He reached out, slowly, fingers brushing hers.

She didn't pull away.

His hand trembled.

She looked down at their barely-there touch and whispered:

"Tell me you forgot me. But say it without shaking"

He tried.

He couldn't.
