Right now I'm waiting for Kentaro (Suzuki) and Akemi (Wada) at a cafe. We were planning to meet each other outside of the cafe before heading to the arena to watch Kamijo's and Arakan Takahashi's fight.
- Hey Kenji, said Kentaro when he and Akemi arrived at the cafe. Kentaro wore a green shirt with yellow symbols on it. Akemi wore a brown t-shirt and blue jeans.
- Kentaro, Akemi Hi, I said. It's been about a month since the orphanage incident happened and tomorrow is the second tournament of the team tournament.
- So who do you think will win? asked Kentaro.
- Kamijo for sure, I answered.
- Yeah, for sure. So how is it going with Misaka? Akemi asked. I looked at Akemi confused and asked "How is it going with Nari? What do you mean?"
- I mean how's dating her going, how many dates have you gone on? asked Akemi.
- Dates? We aren't dating, I answered.
- Really? After hearing some rumors that she had started dating someone I thought it was you, Akemi explained.
- She has? If she has it's not me, I said. I don't really care if she is dating someone. It's not like I got any feelings for her. After that we headed to the arena.
Outside the arena.
When we got to the arena, stood the Watanabe siblings there.
- Isn't it obvious that Takahashi is going to win? asked Goro.
- Oh, how stupid are you, of course Kamijo is going to win, said Amaterasu.
- Goro, Amaterasu, hi! Are you also going to watch the battle? asked Kentaro.
- Oh Suzuki, Wada and Fuji hi, said Amaterasu.
- Yeah and it's obvious that Takahashi is going to win, right? asked Goro.
- What are you talking about, no, Kamijo is going to win, I said.
- What are you talking about? asked Goro.
- How stupid can you be? asked Amaterasu. She looked at me and said "At least for once you were able to have an intelligent thought."
- Oh you son of a bitch! I screamed and would have hit her if my friends hadn't held me back.
In the arena.
- It's time for the next S-Class VS S-Class battle, said the judge.
- This time on the right side we have Licht Kamijo, the judge said and Kamijo walked out. He was very muscular and had short white hair. He was smiling. His left eye was blood red and his right eye was closed and over it was a scar. He wore a black t-shirt and grey shorts.
- And on the left side we have Arakan Takahashi, said the judge and Takahashi walked out. Takahashi has black messy hair, orange eyes and is very muscular. He wore a white tank top with a black jacket on his shoulders like a cape and grey shorts. The judge looked at both of them and screamed "Start!"
- Strength Boost, both of them said. They ran towards each other and punched each other in the face. Takahashi showed a smile and punched each other again. Takahashi jumped back a few meters and his bruises healed.
- Come on, said Kamijo and ran up to Takahashi again and punched him again in the face. Takahashi took Kamijos arm and broke it. Kamijo jumped back.
- Regeneration, said Kamijo in the air and his broken arm and bruises healed.
- Takahashi's bruises healed again, I said worried. Goro laughed and said in a cocky way "Takahashi has the passive ability Auto-Regeneration. All the injuries he gets will get healed as soon as possible." And why the hell are you cocky? Well that will be trouble for Kamijo.
- Fantastic Punch, said Takahashi and his arm started burning with a completely orange fire. He jumped up to Kamijo and tried to punch him in the face.
- And there you are out, said Goro. Goro, can you shut up, I thought. Kamijo took Takahashi's arm and broke it and then he kicked him away. Takahashi's broken arm healed, meanwhile Kamijo spat out some blood and started running towards Takahashi.
- Speed Boost, Fantastic Punches, said Takahashi and both his arms started burning with two completely orange fires. When Kamijo came up to Takahashi he tried to punch him but Takahashi avoided and punched him in the stomach which made him fly back a few meters. When Kamijo stopped, Takahashi disappeared.
- Speed Boost, said Kamijo before Takahashi punched him in the cheek and then disappeared again. Kamijo closed his eyes and the next time Takahashi tried to punch him, he blocked it. Takahashi disappeared again but now every time Takahashi tried to hit Kamijo, he either avoided it or blocked it.
- Come on! I can't even touch you, said Takahashi.
- Punch Beam, said Takahashi, shooting an orange beam in the shape of a clenched fist towards Kamijo who opened his eyes and said "Okay, it's over now." And pointed at Takahashi.
- Flamethrower, said Kamijo and shot a bunch of fire at Takahashi. When their magic hit each other, Kamijo's fire easily overpowered Takahashi's magic.
- The winner is Licht Kamijo, said the judge.
- Wait, how? asked Goro.
- I said so, said Amaterasu. Takahashi sat on the ground and sighed. Kamijo walked up to him, already healed his injuries and said "Good fight." Takahashi looked up and said "Yeah, it was." After that Takahashi walked away.
In Kamijos changing room. "Why did you barely use your magic?" We heard Nari ask before we got into the room.
- Because if I had then the battle would have ended too quickly, Kamijo answered. When we got into the room, Nari and Saito were already there.
- Hi, I said. This was the first time I have seen Nari since the orphanage incident happened.
- Hey Kenji, Nari said.
- Hey Fuji, so who are those two, Saito asked whilst pointing at Kentaro and Akemi.
- Hi, I'm Akemi Wada, Akemi introduced himself.
- And I am Kentaro Suzuki, we are Kenji's friends, said Kentaro. After Kentaro had introduced himself, someone behind us said "So this is the new S-Class. It seems like you aren't that strong." I turned around and saw a man with red hair and red eyes. He had a red shirt under a white blazer and white pants. The man had a red tie and black glasses. He is Ryuji Tabemono, the first son of Chin-Hwa Tabemono, the owner of Mahõ Tabemono. Until Kamijo showed up, Tabemono was the strongest fire magician in Magic City and is one of the strongest magicians overall in the world. There's many people that think that he should be ranked in the S-Class and see him as stronger than many of the actual S-Classed magicians. He's one of the few magicians outside of the S-Class that have gotten a nickname with his nickname being The Prince Of Fire. There are rumors that he is a part of Magic City's board members and that's why he isn't ranked as an S-Class. It's not a rumor that I believe in but many do. Tabemono participated in the Team Tournament last year and won it and he's participating in the Team Tournament this year too. Last tournament his team finished third, tied with Takahashi's team and only behind Alpha's and Accelerator's teams.
- So it's going to be an easy victory for us tomorrow, said Tabemono. It's his team that we will be fighting in the first round.
- What do you mean by that? asked Nari.
- Isn't it obvious? You have an F-Class, so you have one useless slot and then a teleporter which you can only use as a support. And yeah sure, you got two S-Class magicians but Kamijo can barely use any magic, which means that Misaka is the only threat and do you think that you can win in a 1V4? asked Tabemono. His team has 5 A-Class magicians and holy shit, he is underestimating Kamijo a lot. I don't think he has looked up what Kamijo actually has done or anything about him. Before Nari was able to say anything Kamijo said "Well, we will see that tomorrow."
- Yeah sure, Tabemono said with a cocky smile and then he walked away.
- I think he is underestimating you a bit, said Akemi.
- Yeah, but just a little bit, said Kamijo sarcastically.
- I think he will get a reality check tomorrow, said Nari before her stomach growled.
- So where are we going to eat? asked Kamijo.
- What about Mahõ Tabemono and it's on you, said Nari and pointed at Kamijo.
- Hey, why is it on me? asked Kamijo with a shocked smile.
- Because I said so and because you have a job, said Nari and ran away.
- She seems happy, I said.
- Yeah, maybe it's because she hasn't needed to put up with you for a month, said Saito.
- Really? I asked.
- Nah, I think it's more that she hasn't seen you for a month and other things are going well, Kamijo said.
In Mahõ Tabemono.
- Is this your first time here? Nari asked when we got into the restaurant.
- Yeah, of course, Suzuki answered.
- No, I have eaten here a few times, said Wada. Saito looked at Wada and asked "Wait, you have eaten here before?"
- Yeah, I have, Wada answered.
- How do you have enough money to eat here? asked Saito.
- His family is rich, Suzuki answered.
After we had started eating, Nari asked "So Kamijo, what do you think of the food?"
- It's fine, he answered before someone slammed his face into the table. I looked up and saw a furious Tabemono. Flames were coming from Tabemono.
- What did you say about my fathers food? Tabemono screamed in rage. On his left side stood a woman with long black hair and black eyes. She had a black dress on her and on his right side stood a man with short light blue styled hair and light blue eyes. The man had a white shirt under a light blue blazer with a blue tie and light blue pants.
- Ryuki, calm down, said the man with light blue hair. Good, please calm him down, I thought before the woman said mockingly "Yeah, it's completely unnecessary to get so angry at a bunch of losers."
- Yeah, that's true, Chin-Hae, said Tabemono and removed his hand from Kamijo's head as the flames disappeared.
- Come on babe, let's go and eat, said the woman.
- Okay Asami, see you later losers, said Tabemono. Before they walked away, the guy with light blue hair, called Chin-Hae, punched Kamijo in the head. They laughed as they started walking away.
- Hey, Jang, stop with that, someone said in a thick russian accent before they left us. I looked towards the voice and saw a man with dark blonde hair and orange eyes. He wore a white shirt under a black blazer and black pants. He had a tie and was very big. He was Karol Kabakov, the third strongest A-Class magician. He is the only one with the unique magic Beast Magic. Beside him stood a woman with black hair styled in twin braided buns with micro-bangs. She had yellow eyes and freckles. She wore a yellow dress on her. She was Chin Smith, the strongest B-Class magician. When Chin-Hae saw Kabakov, he walked up to him and asked "And why should we listen to you?"
- If you continue to act like that, it will bite you back eventually, Kabakov said. Chin-Hae was about to punch Kabakov before Tabemono said "It's unnecessary to get into a fight with him." Tabemono looked at Kamijo and said "Unlike him, Kabakov is actually strong." Kabakov and Tabemono have battled each other multiple times in the past and Kabakov has been able to beat Tabemono a few times. Chin-Hae looked angrily at Kabakov and then turned around and left for a private room.
- Thank you for the help, Kamijo said to Kabakov.
- You don't need to thank us, said Kabakov.
- Are you new here in Magic City? asked Smith to Kamijo.
- Yeah, only been here for just over a month, Kamijo answered.
- Okay, my name is Karol Kabakov, said Kabakov.
- And I am Chin Smith, said Smith.
- I'm Licht Kamijo, said Kamijo. They looked surprised. Smith looked at Kabakov and asked "Licht Kamijo? Podozhdi, tak on — novyy S-klass?" What language is that? I wondered.
- Da, eto ya, said Kamijo. Kobakov and Smith looked shocked that Kamijo could speak that language.
- Podozhdi, ty govorish' po-russki? Kobakov asked, surprised.
- Da, ya mogu. YA takzhe znayu niderlandskiy, nemetskiy, ispanskiy, frantsuzskiy, angliyskiy, shvedskiy, kitayskiy, koreyskiy, estonskiy, finskiy, norvezhskiy, datskiy i ital'yanskiy yazyki, said Kamijo.
- Pochemu vy znayete tak mnogo raznykh yazykov? asked Smith.
- YA puteshestvoval po mnogim stranam, said Kamijo. I wonder what they are talking about?
- Iz kakoy vy strany? asked Kabakov.
- Niderlandy i vy, Kamijo said.
- YA iz Rossii, a ona iz Ameriki, said Kobakov.
- Podozhdi, ona iz Ameriki? Kamijo asked.
- Da, no moya mama iz Yuzhnoy Korei, said Smith.
- Eto vso ob"yasnyayet, Kamijo said whilst looking towards the clock.
- Oh shit, I need to go, sorry, Kamijo said and walked away. After that Kobakov and Smith said bye and walked away.
The next day.
- Hi and welcome to the second team tournament, screamed Kertdux. "Last time it was Team Accelerator's team that won. Will they be able to win today too?" Kertdux looked around and said "So let's start this."
- Yes sir, the judge said.
- So it's time for the first battle to start and it's gonna be Team Accelerator against team Takahashi, the judge said. "On the right side we have team Accelerator which consist of Accelerator, Kichi Kondo, Akane Kimura and Hayami Nishimura." Accelerators team walked out.
- And on the left side we have team Takahashi, which consists of Arakan Takahashi, Karol Kabakov, Chin Smith and Hoshi Kobayashi, said the judge as Takahashi's team walked out. The judge looked at both teams and said "Start!"
