When Adrian brought out the idea to be reckless and force a mistake out of Bruce, both the Deputy Commissioner Tavengwa and FBI Agent Reyes had strongly objected. They feared media backlash but Micah had assured them that it would provide results. The only way was public opinion.
"I'm not saying I am 100% confident but Bruce lives in the limelight and there has been many scandals before so we can't conquer him. With that, we agree. What I am confident of is that Bruce's associates are not thick skinned like him. We bring them in for questioning but we make that information public that we have got them. The others left behind will panic and it creates pressure on Bruce on do a mistake. He won't but the others will either try to fake vacations or resignations for they will assume the investigation is complete and we are coming for everyone."
"That is something The Commissioner will never allow Micah, I don't know how you are used to working Micah but being cowboys is not how we work here. What you are proposing will create problems for me for this mission is from UN, the Commissioner does not know I sanctioned this investigation," said Tavengwa.
"I don't know Bruce. We, the FBI try to keep a low profile. Whether the probability of success is high or not, the higher ups would never allow me to take part in such public mission. Maybe that's how you do it at Echo but I'm still in charge here," Reyes commented and threatened at once. Micah had gotten the reactions he had wanted from these two and from now he knew he couldn't trust these guys.
Micah rose and angrily shouted at Assistant Commissioner Tavengwa, "THIS IS WHY YOU FAILED TO PRODUCE A THING FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS, YOU ARE COWARDS. AS LONG AS ECHO IS INVOLVED, I WILL DO WHAT I DEEM BEST WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. IF ANY OF YOU THINK THIS IS WRONG, CONTACT UN, BESIDES I'M HERE BECAUSE ZIM CALLED. I'M NOT PART OF THE UNITED NATIONS TASKFORCE. IF YOU WANT US TO WORK TOGETHER, DON'T STOP ME." with that Micah got out the Conference room.
He got out and shouted to the other guys, "Get three warrants, for Dr Moyo from the recent Bruce's case, Judge Silver from last year case who was implicated in jury tampering for high profile cases and the CBZ main branch manager , I don't know hos name. Bring them in for questioning now and I suppose call a few media personnel to witness the arrests but don't let anyone follow you here, he paused, "NOW LEAVE." He shouted the last part and 6 agents got up and left.
Inside the conference room, Tavengwa and Reyes were left together. Tavengwa sighed and said, "I don't know how they train you guys but I hope you don't burn my city down"
Reyes stood up after that remark and eyed Tavengwa. She took her jacket and turned atvthe door before exiting and said, " I'm trained to follow orders, these ECHO guys are given the power to do anything on their own judgement. If you try to restrict him, he'll burn you first. Now I still blame you for giving ECHO the power to operate here. Just because you brought him here does not mean you'll be able to control him. You should have never allowed him here first. You called him here , but the more I think of it, ECHO forced you to say you want their help. I don't know how but I'll soon find out." With that she got out and went directly to her office. Meanwhile Assistant Commissioner Tavengwa left for work while Bruce also waited in his office for those three guys he had called for.

Bruce was dozing off at his desk in his office at the law firm. He currently did not have any cases but he loved very much being available to coach the interns and help them build their cases. As of now though, the litigation department was quiet as most lawyers were out at different courts.
His phone rang once and he quickly put it to his ear. Adrian's voice came from the other end saying, "Bruce I advise you to turn on the TV, you may get new cases professionally but we may also have a problem."
Bruce quickly replied, "You know I don't like those, whats up."
Tendai said, "I'll comment after you watch the news and that will be face to face but I've already called the guys and I'm on my way to the war room. Expecting you soon"
Bruce took the remote and played with it before turning on the television. He was hesitating because it was rare to see Tendai agitated and besides, what kind of problem would require an emergency meeting. He finally turned on the television and the news wasn't something he smiled upon. After watching he frowned and the first person he thought of was Micah.
He quickly called back Tendai. Tendai quickly said, "I thought we said we would talk at the meeting with the guys." Micah quickly said gritting his teeth, "This is about media backlash. Everyone knows about Micah and his famous acts and this is to scare us to make mistakes. Call all the guy, all the premiums and tell them not to panic. Micah has nothing. We may be in for a turbulence with what he has done. Fuck this guy. He is a problem. Less than a week and this is what he has done," Micah's phone vibrated mid call and he checked the screen, "Do what I told you." He cut the call and accepted the incoming call.
"Tell me you have this under control Bruce Turner, I'm freezing now with fear and the media are already calling me saying as that man's associate, what do I know about them being questioned," said the agitated voice on the other end.
"Chill my brother, it's nothing. Adrian is looking into it but they are trying to get you guys to slip and say something to the media. Just relax and," he paused the said softly, "Never call me unless it's priority one. And this is just you being scared, coward." He ended the call and sat down staring at the chandelier.
He smiled and said to himself, "Well-done Micah, I give you that, well done. Seems for once in a long time, this city is about to get interesting."
