Boom——!!!
The entire oceanic dimension shook.
Naga stomped on Quaggs' tentacles.
The massive tentacles, thick as mountains, were crushed into a U-shape and fell heavily to the seabed.
Countless amounts of sand and silt were thrown high into the air, and the water grew murky.
For dozens of miles around, the entire area became dark and cloudy.
"Quaggs!" Naga roared.
"Do you really think you can save this man?"
He lifted his foot and swung his hand. The surrounding seawater obeyed his will, retreating and quickly clearing the murky sea.
"Now I will show you the true face…"
His enormous single eye focused once more on the place where Aron had just been.
But there was no one there.
Aron was no fool. Even with Quaggs' help, it would have been suicide to remain exposed before such a strike. He had used teleportation in time and vanished from that spot.
"Too bad there are no laws of physics here for me to overturn," Aron thought coldly.
"Otherwise, I would incarnate as a giant and tear this grotesque octopus apart with my own hands."
He teleported above Quaggs' body.
But he was far too small. Among titans like Quaggs and Naga, Aron was barely noticeable at all.
Quaggs and Naga, every one of their movements covered thousands of meters. If one counted the length of Quaggs' tentacles, they could reach even ten thousand meters.
Godzilla, figuratively speaking, would have walked up to him and lit a cigarette out of respect. He was the true king of monsters.
In contrast, Aron, the size of an ordinary man, was nothing more than a tiny speck.
But size isn't everything. Power and the outcome of battle are not determined solely by how big you are.
Aron felt Naga's eye searching for him again. He didn't even reach for the Necrosword. Instead, he raised his hand and showed his palm.
On his skin was a complex symbol, drawn with an ordinary marker. Sometimes the simplest means are enough to trigger the strongest rituals.
"Quaggs, this is my final wave."
White light shone from Aron's palm. It was not blinding, nor too dazzling. It was calm, pure, almost soothing.
But everywhere it passed, the inscriptions on the massive chains around Quaggs vanished like snow melting under the sun.
A deafening crash echoed through the depths.
The chains began to fall one by one. Every impact of the freed steel stirred up the seabed, lifted tons of sand, and created an even greater storm.
"Stop!"
"Human! Don't you dare!"
Naga saw it. His eye flashed with eerie white rays and aimed at Aron.
"Kaecilius, move away!" Quaggs suddenly shouted.
Naga's attack wasn't physical. His rays didn't destroy the body, but pierced the mind and soul. It was an attack meant to shatter will and annihilate consciousness.
But…
"Interesting…" Aron remained calm. He felt no threat at all.
And he was right.
The rays dispersed as though they had struck an invisible wall. Aron wasn't even grazed.
He didn't even break a sweat.
Even if he had been wrong, he wouldn't have cared, he had the Eyes of Agamotto. With them, he could repel any attempt to disrupt his soul.
"What"
"Impossible!" Naga thundered, his voice full of disbelief.
If Quaggs' trick lay in his ability to ignore defenses.
His power, the destruction of mind and soul, was the reason he enjoyed the status of a devourer of consciousness.
And this man, a mere mortal, had resisted his strongest technique without any effort at all.
"Human!"
"I don't care what means you used to weaken the seal of my Master. You have already made a mistake you will pay for with your life!"
He swung his hand in fury.
The entire oceanic dimension began to turn. The water became his weapon. Dozens of massive whirlpools opened across the sea, each large enough to swallow a mountain.
One should never underestimate the power of water, especially when hundreds of millions of tons of seawater are rotating at high speed.
The tearing force generated was enough to rip a mountain apart in an instant!
"Die!" Naga roared.
The whirlpools moved simultaneously, crashing down toward Aron.
But before the attack could reach him, Quaggs reacted.
His tentacles, massive as mountain chains, surged from the sea and cut the whirlpools in half. With raw, brutal strength, he destroyed the energy Naga had unleashed.
"For thousands of years I have been imprisoned!" Quaggs thundered.
"For thousands of years I endured your humiliation!"
The chains fell one by one, freeing his enormous body. Even parts buried deep in the seabed began rising to the surface.
His silhouette was terrifying.
Among Gargantos' servants, Quaggs was the one who most resembled him, inheriting his immense body and terrifying skills.
"Hahaha! Naga, I see fear in your eyes!" he roared.
"Even though I am weakened, even though my strength is not even a tenth of what it once was, you are still afraid of me!"
His tentacles glowed with purple light, ready to unleash destructive energy at Naga.
Aron watched the scene from the side and almost wished he had brought a chair and some popcorn.
This was much better than some blockbuster like Godzilla versus Kong!
The only downside was his own position. He was too small, insignificant among these colossi, and he felt like he was sitting in an aquarium while two giants shattered the glass walls and shook the entire world.
Boom!
The two titans collided.
Dozens of beams of destruction exploded in all directions. The sea boiled. The ground trembled.
The entire dimension quaked, as though it would collapse under the weight of their clash.
For a moment Aron felt like he was in a closed aquarium, and then two giants holding sticks wildly stirred the aquarium.
But in reality…
Aron was not incapable of joining this battle.
More precisely, before entering the oceanic dimension, Aron, who had taken the Necrosword, already had the ability to compete with these dimensional lords.
And now, after absorbing a fragment of Quaggs' power, he was even stronger.
Still…
He decided to stay aside.
"Let them kill each other," he thought.
"Let the giants bleed. And I will reap the fruits."
Aron decided to let the two of them slaughter each other.
But…
It seemed fate had to play a little joke on Aron.
