She entered the room and shouted at the top of her lungs:
• Girls!
Julie:
• Lower your voice, Julia is sleeping!
Julia:
• Why all the yelling?
Julie:
• See? You woke her up!
Julia:
• How can I sleep with you two around? Come on, Maria, tell us what you were about to say.
Maria:
• Max is the son of my mom's friend — the one I always dreamed of meeting!
Julie:
• What? How?
(And Maria told them everything, while at the same time, Max was telling his friends about Maria and what happened when he spoke with his father.)
(Sadly, Maria said:)
• You know, I always longed to meet him. Before my mom passed away, I promised her that I would fulfill her wish and make her see him… but now it happened, and she's not here.
Julie:
• Don't worry, sweetheart. She's watching you from the sky, and she's so happy right now.
Maria:
• I miss her so much.
Julie:
• I miss my mom too.
(Julia opened her arms wide and said:)
• I'm your mom now, come to Mama's arms!
(They both laughed, Maria and Julie, and said:)
• Mama Julia!
Maria:
• I forgot—when are we going to Mexico?
Julie:
• Tomorrow.
Maria:
• That's amazing!

The girls got ready for the trip.
Maria:
• I can't go.
Julie:
• What? Why not?!
Maria:
• All my memories are there… they'll come flooding back.
Julie:
• Don't talk like that. Look at me, I have tons of memories there too, and even though I don't deny the pain, I managed to move past it. We have to learn to live with it.
Julia:
• I brought you guys some ice cream!
Julie:
• It looks delicious!
Maria:
• Mmm, it's so good!
Julia:
• Mmmmmm, it's really delicious!
(📣 Loudspeaker:)
• Dear passengers, please proceed to Hall Five for the flight to Mexico.
Maria:
• Oh, that's our flight!
Julie and Julia:
• Let's go!

Meanwhile, with the boys…
They woke up late since they stayed up all night.
Max:
• Come on, wake up! We only have one day left.
Leo:
• Let me sleep, Max…
(Max went to the kitchen, grabbed two water bottles, and poured them all over Leo and Matthew.)

(Max laughed at them, then they all finally got up and got ready, except Max, who was lost in thought about Maria.)

• We're ready, but you're still not dressed, Max?

(He snapped out of his thoughts and said:)

• Where were you, deep in thought like that?
Max:
• Nothing, nothing…
(With a mischievous look, Leo said:)
Leo:
• Come on, tell us, who's the girl you're thinking about?
Max:
• Maria.
Leo:
• Are you in love with her?
Max:
• You idiot, we're just friends! But I've gotten used to going out with her.
Matthew:
• "Used to"? You've only gone out like… twice!
Max:
• Shut up.
Matthew:
• Should we go find them?
Leo:
• Quiet.
Max:
• Anyway, what's the plan for today? I kinda feel like going back to Paris today instead of tomorrow.
Leo:
• Why?
Max:
• I miss my dad. I can't leave him alone in the house much longer.
Leo:
• And what will happen when you get married?
Max:
• I'll live with him. I'll make sure my wife agrees to it.
Leo:
• And if she wants her own house?
Max:
• We'll think about it later… but you know, I just hope I marry a girl with Maria's qualities.
Leo:
• Or better, why not say you want to marry Maria herself?
Max:
• It's my mom's will after all… but how can I marry her when we're just friends?
Leo:
• Your mom's will was kinda strange, you know.

(They both screamed and jumped on his bed.)

(They crashed onto the bed—and it broke!)

• Oh my God!
Matthew:
• This is your fault!
Max:
• Oh nooo…
Leo:
• What just happened? I can't even see properly.
Matthew:
• Leo! Max! What did you do?!
Leo and Max:
• Matthew, buddy!
Matthew:
• What do you want?! From that tone, I know you're about to tell me something disastrous!
Leo:
• How about you pay for the damage?
Matthew:
• What?! I'm the one who caused this, or is it you?!
Max:
• Please…
Matthew:
• No.
Max and Leo:
• We'll pay for your dinner tonight.
Matthew:
• You two idiots, you know my weak point… fine.
Leo and Max:
• We love you, Matthew!
