The girls' travel day had finally arrived...
Julia:
– I'll miss you all.
Bella & Belle:
– We'll miss you too! Don't forget to call us once you arrive in France.
Julia:
– Don't worry, I will.
Leonela:
– Sweetheart.
Julia:
– Mom.
Leonela:
– Take good care of yourself, and of the girls too.
Julia:
– You all take care of yourselves as well.
Leonela:
– Don't worry, my love.
Julia:
– Maria, Julie, where are you? We're going to be late!
Julie & Maria:
– We're here!
. . .
After a few hours, they arrived in France.
Maria:
– I missed France so much.
Julie:
– And what were you saying when we were in Mexico?
Maria:
– I can't deny what I said...
Julie:
– Let's just get home, I'm exhausted.
Julia:
– Not yet!
Julie:
– What now?
Julia:
– I'm hungry.
Julie:
– But you ate on the plane!
Julia:
– I'm still hungry!
Julie:
– Did you eat everything on the menu and still feel hungry?!
Julia:
– Is it your stomach or mine?
Maria:
– Hey you two, enough! We'll get Julia something to eat, but first let's take Julie home.
Julie:
– You're going to eat without me?
Maria:
– But you said you're tired!
Julie:
– I'm not tired anymore.
Maria:
(??)
Julie:
– Let's go!
Maria:
– Taxi!
They first went home to freshen up, then headed to their usual restaurant.
Maria:
– You know, I really miss Max.
Julie:
– Oh, someone's in love!
Maria:
– He's just my friend!
Julie:
– He's going to be your husband someday, don't forget his mother's will!
Maria:
– I love him as a friend, nothing more.
Julie:
– You never know what the future holds.
Coincidentally, the boys entered the restaurant to pick up their order for home.
Max:
– Is that Maria?
Matthew:
– Looks like you're seeing her everywhere because you're in love.
Leo:
– Is that Julie?
Matthew:
– Even you, Leo?
Max & Leo:
– We're serious!
Matthew:
– You guys are crazy. Wait, is that Julia?!
Leo:
– What were you saying earlier?
Matthew:
– Shut up!
The boys went over to greet the girls.
Maria:
– That's Max!
Julia:
– You see him everywhere because you think about him too much!
Max interrupted:
– But I really am here.
Julia:
– Oh...
Max:
– How are you all?
Julie:
– We're good, and you? Someone missed you a lot!
Max:
– Who?
Maria pinched Julie, making her yelp.
Julie:
– No one! No one!
Max laughed and said:
– Where have you all been? Haven't seen you in a while.
Julie:
– We went to Mexico after our trip to Bali.
Max:
– What? Why?
Maria:
– To take care of everything tying me to my past.
Max:
– So, are you staying here now?
Maria:
– You could say that.
Max:
– That means we'll see each other every day!
Maria:
– If you want to.
Max:
– Of course I want to! We'll go now. See you!
Maria:
– Take care.
Max:
– You too.
The boys left.
Matthew:
– Wow wow! What's going on here? Are you two falling for each other?
Max:
– Friends also care for each other, not just lovers.
Matthew:
– Hmm...
Leo:
– Where to now?
Max:
– Home. Don't you remember the movie we planned to watch?
Leo:
– Oh right!
. . .
Julia:
– Take care! Do you realize what you just said, Maria?
Maria:
– Friends take care of each other too, not just lovers.
Julia:
– But–
Julie interrupted:
– Let it go, Julia.
Julia:
– How about we go to the cinema?
Maria:
– Julie and I are too tired. We're heading home to sleep.
Julia:
– Then I'll come with you.
When the girls got home, each went to her room.
They all fell asleep... except for Maria.
Before sleeping, she received a message:
– Come to the location I'm sending you.
Maria: (to herself)
– How can I go? How?
She sneaked into Julie's and Julia's rooms, saw them fast asleep, then slipped out quietly.
In a few minutes, she reached the location, which was near their house.
Suddenly, someone hugged her from behind.
Maria:
– I missed you so much.
Max:
– Not more than I missed you.
Maria:
– Do you know, they all think we're in a relationship!
Max:
– Don't mind them. They suspect me too, but I don't care. Tell me, how are you? Why didn't you tell me about your trip to Mexico?
Maria:
– I missed you too... and my trip happened so quickly, I couldn't tell you. I'm sorry.
Max:
– It's okay. You know, I miss that time we screamed out loud together. Wanna do it again?
Maria:
– But first, is there something bothering you? You can share it with me.
Max:
– The only thing that hurts is feeling like I caused my mother's death.
Maria:
– Don't say that. It was meant to be, and we can't fight fate.
Max:
– She carried me for nine months and then... she was gone when I arrived.
Maria:
– She's in a better place now. And you know, I miss my family too. We came here for a vacation, and I ended up living alone.
Max (pretending to be mad):
– What about me? Do you see me as a wall? I'm here for you — through sadness and happiness!
Maria laughed and hugged him.
Maria:
– I'm so grateful you're in my life. Oh no, it's late! Julie will kill me for sneaking out without telling her. Bye, see you tomorrow!
Max laughed:
– Take care. See you!
