Closing the door behind her, she walks into the kitchen and drops her food on the counter.
Looking at the necklace in her hand, she rubbed the sapphire pendant on it, it glistened a chill ran down her spine
"What was that?" She stared at the necklace "maybe I'm imagining things" she muttered tossing the jewelry on her bed.
Pulling her clothes off she wraps her towel around her about to take a shower when she heard a loud thud coming from her living room
She paused walking into her living room "who's there" she said, glancing around not seeing the dark figures lurking behind her, picking up her shoe she left on the floor she held it like a weapon
"I'm not afraid to hit someone, show yourself" she yelled, shivering she was afraid, and utterly helpless.
The room was silent "huh maybe I'm famished and I've suddenly started imagining things" she muttered dropping the shoe on the floor
"I should eat before I pass out" saying that she turned around to go have a bath, two tall figures in robes stood in front of her one with the necklace in hand
"Hey who are you...how did you...." She slumped on her towel
The two creatures picked up her limp body, dragging her into a portal, as soon as they entered it closed.
"Urghh my head" Lana groaned sitting up, her sight was hazy, "what happened" she muttered rubbing her eye to get a clear sight of where she was
"This is not my apartment" she said looking at the dark room she was locked in, the only light source was from the moon light peaking from a small window, it didn't reflect much just the iron door in front of her
she was still on her towel which was stained by dirt on the floor, looking at her skin she was filthy
She frowned trying to recall how she got here, "those two men, they did this" her eyes widened when she remembered
Getting up from the floor she rushed to the mental door "hello?, is someone there" she yelled
"Can someone hear me?" Her voice echoed through the building
"There must be some sort of misunderstanding, you can't kidnap me I'm no one special and I don't have anything to offer, please just let me go" she screamed banging on the door
"I'm just an orphan, I don't have any money" she continued
nobody answered
Soon the door unlocked, Lana walked back as the door twisted open, the two figures that kidnapped her walked in
Seeing them Lana frowned "hey, don't you know it's rude walking into an apartment and stealing people" she said angrily "especially in their towels" she said looking down slightly covering her thighs
One of the figures tossed a dress to her and turned around "wear that you'll be coming with us"
Catching the clothes she quickly put it on, it was a long gown that looked ancient, she stared at it in confusion 'how does this still exist'
Sensing her silence, the figures turned around and dragged her out of the room
"Hey wait...I can walk, where are you taking me?" She asked
They didn't reply, silently dragging her past a long hall way, up multiple stairs into what seemed like a throne room
When they arrived they tossed her to the floor, making her kneel
"That is no way to treat a lady" she spat at the two figures
"What about about a thief" a voice echoed through the room, turning to the direction of the voice, a man was seated lazily on what seemed like a throne, a shadow was cast on his face making it difficult to make out his features only a sinister smile on his lips.
His voice made her shiver
"A thief?...I'm no thief"
"Silence" one of the figures said making her flinch
a chuckle reverberated from the man sitting on the throne
"I could believe you except you were caught with a valuable treasure of mine" he said dangling the necklace she saw on her doorstep.
Her eyes widened "I...I saw that on my doorstep, I didn't steal that from anyone" she stuttered
"Lies" a figured yelled kicking her
She stumbled on the floor holding her tummy, tears threatening to fall, she cursed her luck why do these things keep happening to her, clutching her tummy she went back into her kneeling position
"I'm telling the truth, I found the necklace on my doorstep and picked it, I planned to take it to the lost and found" she said her voice cracking from holding back the tears
"Lost and found?...what is that" the man sitting on the throne asked
"It's a place where people keep lost items" Lana explained, she was in too much pain to wonder why that man didn't know what a lost and found was
"I see, it seems you don't want to tell the truth witch, I find it hard to believe you just stumbled upon this and decided to keep it"
Lana blinked twice, did he just call her a witch
