Auden and Godric miscalculated something with all the excitement of getting a new inherent spell.
Trying to separate your own body into five just moments after learning a spell was absolutely not a safe thing to do. Something that every wizard with common sense would agree with.
So when Godric came back and boasted about how Auden had used the new spell, Salazar was violently shaking his head sideways, warning him not to move forward with the explanation.
Even Auden realised halfway through that Rowena and Helga did not seem as excited about what he did compared to Godric.
At that moment, he realised he fu*ked up.
Godric's wails were heard through the pipes of Hogwarts for a few moments. Thankfully, the few who were awake to hear about it believed that one of the spirits of the castle was being mischievous, like they always did.
Auden, on the other hand, was experiencing the maximum potential of his enhanced body right now. He also learned why Godric and Salazar were more scared of the kind Helga rather than the strict Rowena.
She was currently punishing him by making him run away from creatures of the forest Helga had brought under her control last year. Each one of those creatures was not lethal but had many abilities that Auden wanted to avoid at all costs.
He was made to run nonstop until the sun rose the next day. He was so tired that he passed out until the evening and had to miss the next day of classes. Thankfully, because of him covering the entire syllabus of Hogwarts in just a year, the teachers were not that cross about it.
So that evening, he decided to make the plans for this year.
Most of his plans pertaining to the changes he was going to bring to the world can't be completed within this year. Last year, his plans made sure that the wizarding world was interacting with the modern world due to the absence of the elves who were now present within Hogwarts and the forests nearby.
The wizards started with products like the washing machine and vacuum cleaners, and Auden had made sure to instruct Amelia to release rumours that the Muggles were using a higher level of technology than what the wizards currently had in their hands.
Let's just say that the proud aristocrats of the wizarding world were unable to stomach it so easily. And since they had no elves to do their grunt work, many had to hire other people to do it. And at the same time, a few daring ones went to the Muggle world all on their own to find out the products present there.
One of the biggest barriers which prevented this from happening was the fact that human technology short-circuits when it comes near wizards. The wizard's energy creates a sort of electromagnetic effect that destroys any technology that uses microchips when they are activated nearby. But the industry now created by Auden can create an enchantment that easily prevents it.
'It will take at least a year at the minimum to see its effects. So it's better I focus on other things right now.'
This year, Hogwarts will face the Dementors patrolling around the entire campus who are going to terrorise the students throughout the whole year. Plus, Sirius will also be trying his best to hunt down Peter Pettigrew, who was hiding as Ron's rat.
In the original timeline, even though they successfully managed to capture Peter, circumstances changed in a way that resulted in him escaping while Sirius was captured again, with the Minister's plan to execute him with a Dementor's Kiss.
This was another one of fate's plans. Plus, it also happened because Harry got a prophecy that spoke about it happening that day.
Voldemort is in Albania right now, but he is completely powerless and is unable to move forward at all.
The main prophecy speaks about a child born from two of Voldemort's enemies at the end of July to be his greatest adversary. Voldemort had two potential targets for that prophecy. Neville and Harry.
But Voldemort chose to go by himself to deal with Harry and send Lestrange to deal with the Longbottoms, which led to Harry being chosen as the boy who lived.
Prophecies are strong within this world, and Trelawney, who has the blood of the Seer, has maybe the strongest prophetic ability in the world right now.
So Auden has to either make sure that Harry does not get the prophecy or do it in such a way that the prophecy comes true, and at the same time, he needs to make sure that Sirius's innocence gets proven to the whole world.
But something told Auden that Pettigrew's escape was a foregone conclusion. Voldemort needs someone to come back to the real world. So fate will make sure that Pettigrew escapes.
So for now, he needs to make plans so that he will be able to reveal the truth of what will happen here to the entire wizarding world.
'The next topic, the werewolf potion. I need to see whether I can improve it to last longer, or even more unlikely, find a way to completely cure the werewolf virus. It is currently impossible, but that is because the wizards had only looked at it from the perspective of magic alone. I need to see whether I can create some new ideas from the Muggle world.'
He then took out an object from his pocket. Since he was taking a break today, he decided not to waste any time and went through the mountains of discarded objects within the Room of Requirement until he found what he was looking for.
He looked at the Time-Turner in his hand.
His earlier discussion with the founders had revealed an unavoidable fact.
The Time-Turners never existed during their era. And when he compared the locations in which they were found, the founders were adamant that there were never any ruins in those places.
