After experimenting for a few hours, Auden and Godric discovered the capabilities of Auden's inherent spell.
"I have seen a few inherent spells that can use multiple, but my boy, none of them comes close to the capabilities shown by your inherent spell! Even the preliminary info we gained from it has surpassed any multiple spell ever seen during the ancient era," Godric exclaimed in absolute wonder.
By now, Auden had easily cast Expelliarmus ten times simultaneously. He figured out that he can increase the number as much as he wants as long as he has enough stamina to sustain it.
Normally, if a wizard wants to cast two Expelliarmus at the same time, he needs to imagine two different attacks, their power levels, as well as their targets separately. But with Multiple Spell, he just needs to imagine a single spell, its target, and the amount of magic he wants in that spell. After that, he can use Multiple to multiply that spell as many times as he can.
He had read many books about how protagonists have an almost infinite amount of energy within them but are unable to use it at its full force because their levels cap their output. But with Multiple, as long as he has enough stamina, he can increase the power of any attack to unimaginable levels.
But more importantly, he suddenly got a good idea.
He took out his wand and communicated the idea of what he wanted to do. To do this, he needed to be absolutely focused; otherwise, according to his own calculations, the results would damage his body beyond repair.
After getting approving feedback from the wand, Auden began concentrating on his inherent spell.
Godric waited patiently, seeing that Auden was trying to attempt something serious.
After waiting for a few seconds, Auden's body began vibrating slightly. Godric's eyebrows raised slightly as he watched the frequency of the vibration increase even more.
But the next moment, Auden separated into five different people.
Godric was shocked at the sight and immediately used his senses to determine what was happening right now. The moment his senses went through the five figures, he realised that all of them seemed as if they were incomplete.
He only sensed the soul in one figure, and the others seemed to be completely empty. Plus, he was able to determine that each body only seemed to have 20 percent of the density of Auden's original body.
Godric turned to the body with a soul.
"How are you feeling, kid? Any problems with control?"
"No," Auden replied with a smile and looked at his copies. Then, suddenly, his copies began moving around them in different ways. One was doing cartwheels, one was climbing the trees, one was using his wand to test out spells, and the last was just staring into the sky.
"Are you controlling them simultaneously?" Godric asked as he looked at the clones in interest.
"No, they are like automations that act on my orders. They have twenty percent of all my abilities, but they lack a soul. So they won't be able to do certain spells like the Patronus or anything similar.
But at the same time, they have all my memories and my judgement. And I can control them and order them remotely as well. I can even see through their eyes anytime. Plus, when we combine back, I can get all their memories and experience. I can even make them train hard and get all the benefits when they return back to me," Auden said as he realised he had recreated the Shadow Clone Jutsu but better.
The Shadow Clone Jutsu has the ability to act just like its user does and can return the memories when it gets dispersed. Plus, there is the limitation of the amount of time it can stay without being dispersed. And it cannot share live vision and memories. But Auden's clones created by Multiple Spell can do everything the Shadow Clones can and more.
"What happens if one of them is killed?" Godric asked.
"Well, they are created by equally dividing my flesh, magic, and skills. So if one of them dies, I will not be able to summon them until I recover that much energy. Plus, I only created five because that is the most I can create with the total amount of energy I have. Anything less and they will be too weak for my plans."
"Your plans. What do you mean?"
"Look around, Godric. There are four clones around us right now."
Godric Gryffindor's eyes widened slightly as he realised the implications of what Auden had planned. Now, Auden had a way to influence the wizarding world without revealing his identity like he wished not to do.
"These clones can act as independent entities while I can secure my anonymity. People might suspect me of being in two places at once due to the existence of the Time Turner. But they will never imagine three or four at the same time." Auden said as he believed he would receive one next year when he signed up for all the classes.
"Hmmm, yes, I remember among the information I got from Helena. It was interesting, learning that there was an artifact in an ancient civilization that allowed people to travel back in time. Even though limited, it was surprising to hear that."
"What do you mean surprising? From what I remember reading, Time Turners were found in the ruins of ancient civilizations. And you guys must have found at least one or two, right?" Auden asked curiously.
"Sorry, kid, I have never heard of these Time Turners in my whole life. And if the others had heard about it, they would have told me about it. So I can say for sure that they, too, had not heard anything about it," Godric said with absolute certainty.
'That is surprising.' Auden filed that information for later use. Something told him that it was important somehow, and he was not about to ignore his instincts.
"Come on, kid. I'm sure the others will be excited to see what you have accomplished with your inherent magic," Godric said as both of them began moving back towards the castle.
But they were in for a world of surprise.
