My heart skipped. "Wait, what? You mean Enzo came here because of you, Kenji?"
He just grinned and flashed a peace sign at me.
Keturah rolled her eyes. "Exactly! He only shows up when you are around. And you still deny it?"
I swallowed hard, heat crawling up my neck. Enzo had really come here because of me. What did that even mean?
"When do you think that will ever happen?" Keturah teased with a playful grin.
This girl really amazes me sometimes. She looked nothing like someone with a broken heart anymore. The moment I shared what happened with Adier, it was like gossip turned into medicine that healed her. Suddenly, she was all smiles again, as if her heartbreak was nothing more than a passing headache.
Soon after, both Keturah and Kenji were pulled to the dance floor. I stayed behind, watching them with their clumsy moves. They were clearly tipsy, and here I was, left as the responsible one, keeping an eye on them while silently waiting for Enzo.
