"Yes, this is my husband, Miss Temari. His name is Jay William," Ameno replied with an embarrassed face. She never expected Miss Temari's reaction to be so intense.
At first, she just wanted to share and tell him the good news, but she didn't expect such a reaction.
"Ah, nice to meet you," Temari then greeted Jay.
"Greetings, Miss Temari," Jay replied back.
"Then, what business do you have here?" Temari asked after hearing Ameno's entire story.
"My husband is a trader, and he's requesting permission to trade in your village," Ameno replied again.
"Oh, you're a trader. How unusual, but that's a good thing. We at Sunagakure always welcome traders with hospitality. Just remember, no one can take advantage of our kindness. So, please remember," she welcomed Jay and Ameno, but also warned them to know their limits.
"Don't worry, Miss. I will definitely abide by the village regulations," Jay replied again in a submissive tone.
Currently, Jay has no intention of starting anything big; he's simply trying to observe and see what he can do in Sunagakure.
There's no indication that he's striving for anything major, and he's not entirely out to profit solely for his own personal gain.
After all, Sunagakure is Ameno's birthplace.
So, even if he tries to profit from his trade, he'll still maintain his boundaries.
Beyond that, he'll simply observe the situation.
After paying the permit fee and receiving a card as a sign of approval, Jay and Ameno bid farewell to Temari.
Then they headed to Ameno's house.
####
"Turn right ahead, dear, and the house with the small yard and the blue fence is my house." Ameno looked excited, even pointing the way to her house.
"Okay," Jay replied again in a relaxed tone.
The roads in Sunagakure Village appeared to be merely compacted and paved, unlike those in Hacho Village or Konoha Village, which were made of better materials.
This once again demonstrated that Sunagakure's economy and infrastructure were more backward than those in other villages.
But after considering the village's overall situation, Jay felt it made sense.
"We're here," Ameno said in a happy tone.
"Welcome home, my dear, and now this is your home too," Ameno said in a happy and cheerful tone.
In front of Jay, a simple, one-story house with a small, slightly neglected yard greeted the two.
Perhaps because Ameno had been away for several months, the yard had become neglected.
"It's such a shame, my flower garden has all withered," Ameno said with a hint of regret.
"Don't worry, now that you're home, let's take care of your flower garden and make it even better," Jay comforted Ameno.
"Okay... then let's clean the inside of the house. I think it's full of dust." Ameno then invited Jay inside, and the two of them discovered that the inside of Ameno's house was indeed covered in dust and sand.
This was understandable, as Ameno had lost her entire family in the previous ninja war.
She was ultimately raised by her close relative, her grandmother. Unfortunately, her grandmother also died a few years later, leaving her alone.
However, Ameno said she had a few good friends, so her days weren't so lonely.
But now, with Jay and his family around, Ameno felt like she had a complete family again.
It took almost a whole day for the two of them to clean the entire house of dust and sand, before they finally rested peacefully that night.

Mornings in Sunagakure village were quite cold, likely due to the extreme temperature difference, due to Sunagakure's geographical location in the middle of the desert.
Making a simple breakfast for himself and Ameno, Jay wasn't in any rush to get down to business.
He had planned to tour Sunagakure today to see the real situation.
However, his information about the village was limited, and he had only learned it through Ameno's stories.
"Honey, wake up," Jay said, waking Ameno, who still appeared to be sleeping soundly.
Ameno was currently sleeping. She looked so peaceful, with her smiling face and her hair flowing naturally.
Covered by the blanket, Ameno looked beautiful in Jay's eyes.
"Ummm... good morning, honey," she opened her eyes with a smile.
Ameno felt like this was one of the most restful sleeps she had had in months, as if she had let go of her worries.
Ameno felt incredibly relaxed being back in her village.
After cleaning herself and changing, the two of them went to the dining table and had breakfast together.
There, the two of them began to discuss today's arrangements. "Are you sure you want to make this decision?" Jay asked casually about Ameno's decision; they had already given it to her yesterday.
But today, Jay still wanted to ask about Ameno's decision.
"Yes, I've made a clear decision, honey. I'll be resigning as the village ninja and will focus entirely on accompanying you as you travel the ninja world.
Because, after all, the most important thing to me right now is you," Ameno said with determination.
"Okay, since that's your decision, I respect it. Honey, we'll definitely explore many beautiful places in this world." Jay respected Ameno's decision.
He felt that Ameno's love for him was truly profound, a ninja who had sacrificed her life to accompany her partner on her journeys in trade throughout the ninja world.
Jay was truly touched, as becoming a ninja was clearly not easy, and the price was high.
"Okay, then, after we finish breakfast, let's return to the Kazekage's building to report my resignation.
After that, we can explore the village freely," Ameno said enthusiastically.
"Okay, let's finish quickly, and we can go explore the village soon," Jay replied happily.
It took almost half an hour for Ameno to finalize her resignation as a ninja of Sunagakure, and Jay accompanied her throughout the process.
Finally, the two of them exited the Kazekage's building with relieved expressions, no trace of regret visible on their faces.
Ameno's face was filled with a smile of relief and happiness.
"You look so happy, honey," Jay said with a smile as he looked at Ameno's radiant face.
"Of course, honey. How could I not be happy? I get to spend more time with you and see more of this vast ninja world?" he said with a hopeful expression.
