I returned to the table where Tristan waited, hoping my face didn't betray what had just happened in the restroom. My hands trembled slightly as I took my seat, reaching for my water glass to steady myself.
"Are you alright, Aurelia?" Tristan's concerned eyes studied my face. "You look pale."
"I'm fine," I lied, forcing a smile. "Just a bit overwhelmed by your generous offer."
Tristan didn't seem convinced, but he was gentleman enough not to press. "Shall we discuss the contract details? I've outlined the terms for the crystal healing technology."
I nodded, grateful for his focus on business. It gave me something to concentrate on besides Julian's threats and the lingering sensation of his brutal kiss.
"The royalty structure looks excellent," I said, reviewing the papers he'd placed before me. "And the manufacturing support your pack is offering will help scale production."
