Damien raised his head.
"Master, you're back."
"Yeah."
Nolan looked at him.
"You're leaving now, Master?"
Nolan nodded.
"Yes."
He paused before continuing.
"And I want to tell you something."
"Don't let Celia, Linda, or Lyra know about what I'm about to do."
Damien remained silent.
"Lyra can protect herself, and if they're ever in serious trouble, I'll know."
"But I still want you to keep an eye on them."
"Even if you don't stay close to them or interact with them, watch their movements from a distance."
"If anyone shows malicious intent toward them, deal with them."
Damien nodded.
"Yes, Master. I will."
"They're precious to you."
He lowered his head slightly.
"Master, take care of yourself."
"If you ever need me, just send a signal from wherever you are. I'll know."
Nolan nodded.
"Then I'll be taking my leave."
He turned toward the Wyvern King.
The enormous beast lowered itself, allowing Nolan to climb onto its back.
