Lyra quietly nodded.

She lowered her head before looking back at him.
"But… what if you need help?"
"You can call me anytime."
"I'll open a portal to wherever you are."
Nolan smiled and gently shook his head.
"There's no need for that."
"This is something I have to do on my own."
"I'll be departing tomorrow."
The room fell silent.
None of them knew what to say.
They all moved closer to Nolan and hugged him.
Lyra smiled softly.
"I'm going to say this again, Master. I'm coming with you. I'm not sure if you've realized it yet, but I'm a woman."
She paused, her face becoming slightly shy.
"And I'm saying this clearly… everything about me belongs to you, Master."
Nolan looked downward for a moment before looking back at her face.
