The kiss was brief.
Brief enough for Lana to feel the texture of Andrew's lips against hers and brief enough to quickly figure out something was wrong about it.
"Drew," she breathed out as she placed her hands on his chest, gently pushing him away. "Wh-"
"Paparazzi," he cut her off before she could finish, leaning backwards to create even more distance between them. "The paparazzi was around. There."
"What?"
"He is standing there," he pointed as he turned his head but Lana didn't move. "Today is for taking suspicious pictures, isn't it? I realized we'd forgotten about that and then I spotted him. Figured out a kissing picture would be the best picture we could give him. especially since he probably already missed out on a day's worth."
"Oh," Lana slowly took in his words. "Oh, that's what happened."
"Yeah," Andrew chuckled. "Sorry, did I startle you?"
