When she left the machine, Ars gave her 2 things, a mirror and a set of clothes, previously prepared by her.
She, as quickly as she could reached for the mirror with her hands trembling, and when she saw her reflection, she broke in tears, she had finally escaped from that horrible curse, and to make things better, her eyes and hair now didn't have the same color of that horrible woman.
She was now a straight haired blond with blue eyes, and had a similar appearance to baby 5 on the remaining aspects, but with more curves.
Even Ars had to give it to that cursed woman, all of her children were very attractive, and with the small tweaks Elia, made even Ars whistle in admiration.
She laughed, ignored the clothes, put her arms around his neck, looked at Ars and whispered in his ear.
"This body is yours. You can do whatever you want to me, and I will love it and beg for more. My dear Master! No… My saviour, from my darkest moment."
Ars originally had no intention of wasting time on things that didn't improve his strength or his kingdom, but she was directly throwing herself at him with a clear intent, combined with the fact she was very attractive and completely naked in front of him.
It was hard to resist and he felt that rejecting would be rude, so he accepted her silent offer. Both of them went at it for a few hours at his house, before going to sleep.
Ars didn't realize that even before her appearance was restored and enhanced, her heart was already his.
She had spent the last years yearning for affection from someone else other than her big brother and sister. Her relationship with other people was simple, if they didn't flinch at her appearance and screamed at her, it was already a good day, so when Ars gave her some attention and demonstrated some affection, she instantly fell for him.
He had become her light, and after he restored her… Her admiration turned to obsession with serving him had reached the deepest levels. She would follow any order given by him… It didn't matter what that order was.
The next day her family came to see her, when she showed her appearance, they were all amazed, and were happy for her.
Elia was elated about her new appearance, but she still kept her face hidden with a mask, she had grown used to it.
Ars got a new suit with higher multipliers and started training, for the next few days to adapt, then he started with the ship pulling training he had decided to try previously.
The 3 oldest members of the Sunhalo family always followed him everywhere, especially Elia who was always by his side and carried things that she thought Ars might need.
The other 2 would help her with some tasks, but for now, the 3 of them besides training with everyone during the morning and serving Ars briefly, had a lot of free time, and they spent most of that free time talking with each other and getting to know other people on the island.
Time passed quickly, at first Ars couldn't even move the ship, but after 3 months he now could pull the ship across the sea, now capable of pulling the ship close to one third of the perimeter of the island.
Pov Koral…
From what I and the majority of people knew about royalty, I knew of a few of their supposed obligations, because just because you could didn't mean you would, and there were a lot of kings and royalty that did just one of their obligations. She remembered something Ars said previously.
"I don't always do my job, but when I do, I do it well."
So I gathered every single person that had a post above civilians, and people that were close to Ars, in this case, they were almost the same with the exception of Fierzy, who was close but held no special position.
To start the meeting I welcomed everyone.
"I thank you all for making some time to attend this meeting! In this meeting we will talk about the future of our dear king. "
They all nodded with a smile. Then I proceed to explain.
"In this meeting we will address his majesty's responsibilities, and how to properly help him and demand that he completes them subtly… Your thoughts on this? "
Oak laughed and joked.
"Subtly? Hahaha, this is gonna be fun…"
Everyone laughed, and then I continued.
"As you may know our king is working on the kingdom or training most of the time, and we need to talk about how we can help him, so he may have time for other activities."
Rook smiled and questioned.
"How you suggest we do that, if we get him more free time, it's extra time he will spend on training, even when Lily invites him to play and he accepts, he normally is wearing his training suit so he can train non stop, and i don't have any idea how to make him actively stop training…"
I responded calmly.
"We can… try to convince him to only passively train using the suits, and not do his currently insane training. I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty sure pulling a ship while swimming for training shouldn't be on the training menu for a human."
They all agreed that it wasn't normal, Rook then commented.
"If you can think of a way to make him stop, be my guest, the last time i tried, instead of decreasing his training time or decreasing the intensity of it, i got my training regime looked by him and he thought i wasn't training hard enough, after that he he went to check every guard training regime, the result, our training increases in difficulty several levels, and we all decided to stay as far away as possible from him when it comes to training…"
Everyone laughed awkwardly. Koral thought about it and presented her idea of what a king should be like, and what she thought were the king obligations.
"To start with, I think we should all reach a consensus of what a king's obligations are."
She looked around, and everyone nodded.
Then she started the enumeration of the obligations.
"First, implementing a government that is both orderly and centralized, to meet the needs of the people, either by appointing ministers, or similar titles to competent people in the desired fields, which will help with quicker responses and an easier time meeting the demands of the citizens. "
She took a break to look around to see if everyone agreed. Seeing everyone agreeing with what she said she kept going.
"Second, to make the military strong enough to deter enemy forces, and deter criminals from committing crimes within the kingdom, of course in case of attack the military forces need to be strong enough to win, and preferable to completely suppress the enemy."
Seeing that no one opposed what she said she continued.
"Third, the king should make sure that the economy is currently doing well, or in this case, that it will do well in the future, either by trading or being self sufficient, in our case we are slowly locating the resources we can use on the island for further use, and depending on what we need we might be either one or the other, but for now we can't expect that much of an economy considering that the kingdom is below 1 year. This also means no taxation for now."
Since she was almost done, she didn't hesitate and added two more obligations.
"Fourth, the king is the one who decides on the laws, our king is following the normal laws, but he can change them at any point, he can also overrule any decision by the law side. Finally I think the king's obligation that the nobles in this world do the most is the conception of heirs."
She then gave her honest opinion.
"I think, the ones that could be done, are done with the exception of the fact that our dear king is young and apparently is not interested in leaving an heir yet, so we might need to convince him to have children."
She then looked at Elia and asked.
"Do you think you could convince his majesty to have children with you? I think everyone can see that you guys are pretty close and you will most likely become our queen in the future."
Elia calmly answered.
"I put his majesty's wishes above everything, so unless he wishes me or authorizes me to be a mother to his children I will not try to do such. And I do believe the master should have more than one wife. So you could start with finding him a few."
I was shocked, so I asked.
"You mean, you would like his majesty to have a harem?I thought you two had something with each other."
Her answer left me speechless.
"Those do not conflict with each other, even if his majesty wishes to make me his wife, I will still be a maid, and I believe that having a few more wives wouldn't be too bad, and yes for now his majesty sometimes demonstrates his affections for me."
Tom, seeing me not answering, added.
"I think it's not a bad idea, each queen could be a direct pillar in the kingdom, each one could help in a different area."
He stooped, looked around and then continued.
"Let's be honest here a lot of kings just do whatever they want, and our king, while he works hard, having a group of queens with different specialties by his side helping him in certain areas, might help a lot."
He made one more break.
"Currently his majesty demonstrates that his biggest interest is being strong, I think that's clear for everyone, and he does what he needs to do as a king, but if he had help he could have an easier time doing other things that he wanted."
I thought about it and realized that while there were a few things that were left unsaid, what was said wasn't wrong, so I commented.
"I think I speak for everyone when I say that neither of us would like to work on the logistics and bureaucracies of our specialities all the time, and would prefer to actively practice them."
We all looked at each other and nodded, none of us wanted to deal with the logistic part of our work, having someone manage it for you would be much better.
Then I remembered something and looked at everyone, and questioned.
"So who will bring this topic with His majesty?"
Nobody stepped up, I had almost decided that I would do it since I was the one who started this, when Elia offered herself.
"I think this is for his majesty to have a better life so i will, after all it's my job to put his needs above everything else."
I nodded.
I would prefer that someone else would talk with Ars about this, but I didn't expect Elia to offer herself.
I understood why she offered herself, but I also understood that she was the one with most to lose if Ars got mad at her for trying to manage his life.
She was basically an unofficial romantic partner at this point and could lose it all because of their decisions, and yet… She offered herself… I got up and hugged her and said to her,
"I think we will be good friends and if you need something just ask. I will also go along just in case his majesty gets mad, to share the blame."
