The skies were dark and the rain was pouring. All sounds were muffled by the pitter patter of the rain. Drop by drop it falls like the men who were fighting in the dark alleys under the broken streetlight.
"Why should I save him?" Lin Yang was smiling slightly as she drank the fizzy drink she held. There was an indifferent light in her eyes that kept everything away.
[[Host! According to the newbie guide, the best routine here would be to show love~ Save the damsel in distress!]]
Lin Yang was hidden in the shadows watching as the fight reached its climax where the villain would get a life-threatening wound that, according to what was written, lead to harsh winters of biting cold, a body that's prone to sickness, and an ignition for the villain's road to self-destruction with a large collateral damage.
"System~ Do tell me.., why are we nearing the end of the plot? I feel that your system is not very friendly for newbies?"
Oh! This was also a point that puzzled the system. Newbies were supposed to get an F-rank mission and currently, it was nowhere to be seen.
qaq Would it be scrapped with the host on its first mission???
The system stimulated false tears. It was on an A-rank mission! It's supposed to lead a newbie on an A-rank mission!
[[It's because you're awesome host! The mission has adjusted to your level]] The system hurriedly said, holding in its hand a book titled, "How to lead (scam) the (stupid) newbie host".
Lin Yang narrowed her eyed and hummed. She was a fool to believe flattery.
The fighting was reaching its climax and the villain hurriedly retreated while wounded and covered by the fire of allies and enemies.

The villain did get very far but the wound near his heart and in his abdomen was bleeding profusely. Staring at the villain, it seems he has reached his limit.
"System, transfer the plot"

This was a modern world rebirth and revenge story, Xia Wei was the spoiled princess of the Wei family. As the story goes, the princess was attracted to a bastard. She gave everything to the wolf in sheep's clothing. Yet, until her death she still didn't get the love.
Her parents planned step-by-step for their daughter yet failed due to raising a pampered princess. Even if they knew of the wolf's ambitions, they were unable to stop it. The large Wei enterprise ended just like that.
In the end, the heroine finally knew of regret.

The heroine studied hard, attracted a top-notch son from a great family, and counterattacked against her previous love.
However, it's not so simple. Her new love had an uncle above him who was favoured and controlled the great family. This uncle also had a hand in the destruction of the great Wei family in the heroine's past life. Old hatred combined with the new caused the heroine to team-up with the hero to gain power and their happy ending. Such uncle was the biggest villain in the plot, however, plan could not keep up with the changes or simply, the overpowered villain.
Supposedly, the heroine would win but according to the world's calculated trajectory, the great villain would cause the world collapse.

"Then, what caused the world collapse?" Lin Yang arched an eyebrow and was curious about the following developments.
[[Uhmm... Well]]

[[Data transmission had errors during transfer and world collapse reasons can't be calculated. Additionally, you were supposed to enter at a much earlier time to heal the villain in his youth.]] The system adapted a formal tone and spoke quickly.
"How unreliable..."
"Don't worry host! I have multiple guides here! Would you like, 'President! I Love You', 'Working in the Small Black Room', 'Falling in the Villain's Arms'"
Lin Yang simply muted the system who chattered messy names and pondered on the current situation.
Infront of her was the bloodied villain who just escaped from the heroine's men. One would not expect the villain to have this day.
Isn't it best to just kill this endless trouble?

The man infront of her opened his eyes, wary and tense. Lin Yang also sees the hidden weapon, the man had conspiciously touched.

QaQ, the host seems to be a evil. Can it really not avoid the fate of being scrapped?
Lin Yang's entire body was covered by shadows as she eerily spoke...
"Say, what will you give to live?" As she spoke, she watches as the man struggles silently as his wounds bleed endlessly.
Sheng Jinyu vaguely heard the words though couldn't reply. He used his last strength to try and see who was infront of him though trickling blood blocked his eyes.
The last thing he saw was an enchanting blue before he blacked out.
"Forget it..."

Lin Yang sighed as she set her eyes on the TV.
"Really, people dare to think of anything." The series she was watching was another idol literature.
She hummed and thought, students should focus on studies and avoid distracting thoughts. Workers should also be concious in accomplishing tasks and not illusory fantasies.
The system was astonished, it heard the mumblings of its host and was stunned of its shamelessness.
Erm...? Before the host says such things can she stop watching dramas and eating popcorn? Shouldn't she also accomplish her mission tasks as a concious worker???
Looking at the unbudging mission progress and the man that laid unconcious for several days. The system felt that the future was too bleak. Which corner and era did it pick up such uncultured host who seemed new to modern ways.
Looking back at the garbled data of its host, the system truly felt helpless.
[[Host! Please stay besides the villain and start the road of warming his heart. According to routine, the villain should be wary at first and then, when the villain looks back he should be touched at the rare warmth of the host!]]
Lin Yang raised her eyebrows at the system's words.
"I feel that there are problems with such routines. Let's not forget that a villain is a villain. Endless suspicion is his character, not to mention I dislike thankless tasks."
Lin Yang thought back at the dramas she watched were the heroine was abused and coldly treated after treating the hero and allowing him to stay and eat for free. She really couldn't bear it.
Movement was heard at the other room. She walked unhurriedly towards the noise and observed for a while.
Shen Jinyang, the villain, was standing in the room warily watching her as she approached.
"Who are you?" , he cautiously asked while looking around.
There was something wrong with his expression, Lin Yang couldn't piece it together yet.
"I'm your aunt." She replied leaning slightly in the doorframe, and observed this villain who would cause the world collapse. She was not really an aunt but used such question to probe a reaction. Afterall, her identity generated in this world was an orphan with no relation to the plot.
"No." Shen Jinyang abruptly replied and was continously finding a way to escape, barely managing to stand due to the extent of his injuries.
Lin Yang watched silently as the man slightly swayed before standing upright. Obviously, he was still in no state to be up and about as he insisted to do.
"Don't tell me... You forgot who you are?" She refuses to believe such clichéd plot to be happening right now. Her eyebrows furrowed as she watched the slight twitch in his eyes as response.
Shen Jinyang just maintained eye contact while offering no response.
'System? What foolishness is this?' Her initial plan was to let the villain return after waking up and remember her for the life saving grace. Darkly, she thought, let the villain proceed and kill him just before the last step and avoid karma through special means. She was also curious how did he cause the world collapse?
[[Congratulations to the host for avoiding the hero's paralysis with timely medical intervention! Though subsequent developments cannot be predicted as a result of plot changes. The temporary amnesia may be due to this.]] The system cheerily announced
"Is that so?" She supposed that the plot would be unreliable...
The system thought, well that maybe, this is because you let him fall of the bed at the first night...It was surprising that he didn't wake up at such carelessness of the host.
Lin Yang walked closer and Shen Jinyang warily backed away until he hit the corner of the bed. She pushed him suddenly causing him to lay down.
A groan escaped from his mouth as he felt an ache from his various wounds. He also felt black spots in his vision. He quickly fixed his position on bed before he passed out.
"Patients should have the awareness of being a patient..." Lin Yang mumbled as she went out to continue her drama.
The system once again felt depressed, such scenes don't look sweet at all...? It felt like a villain taking care of an enemy?
