Her body suddenly emitted a burst of light, like an explosion, and in the next instant, she vanished—replaced by a red fox with a thick, fluffy tail.
"Ahhh, she really transformed!" Emma gasped at the sight, while Sofia just chuckled—it wasn't her first time seeing it, though it had been a while.
"Miya, that really suits your personality," she said.
The fox then shimmered and returned to the form of Miya, the jade bracelet once again resting in her palm.
"Sofia, don't tease me," Miya protested.
"I'm not teasing—it's just a fact," Sofia replied.
"You..." Miya shook her head and pouted.
"I'm not like that anymore," she muttered.
"Would you like to try it too?" she asked Oliver.
He shook his head.
"Not right now, but I'll accept the artifact," he said.
He was just worried his true form might be too enormous—and wouldn't fit inside the house.
