"Uhm..." Oliver cleared his throat.
"Mom, what's going on?" he asked.
He hadn't expected that this famous singer had seen him before. That could only mean she really was an old friend of his mother's.
"Sit down first—Miya needs your help," Sofia replied.
Oliver was even more surprised upon hearing that.
This woman needed his help? What could he possibly help her with—unless she knew about his powers?
"Miya is a close friend of mine. Even though we haven't met in a long time, she's often helped us," Sofia added.
"Sofia, that's really not worth mentioning," Miya said with a modest smile.
"Oliver, I know about your powers from your mother," she continued, her eyes turning toward him.
Oliver didn't feel angry that his mother had revealed his abilities to her friend. After all, it wasn't something he was actively trying to hide.
As a mother, it was only natural for Sofia to be proud of a son who had become a Cultivator.
"Does Mrs. Everly need help from my powers?" Oliver asked.
