Chapter 6 - Who is the Devil ?

Sir Charlson begins to speak, his voice sounding mighty and powerful. "So, as you've probably already noticed, the devil is in London. He has murdered innocent people, and no one knows who he is, what he looks like, what his name is, how old he is, and most importantly, what his goal is. Maybe he's not at all like the little red man we were told about in fairy tales, as a little red man with horns and a red cape. Maybe he's even among us." Sir Charlson bangs his walking stick on the ground and raises his voice. "In any case, we will destroy him, in the name of our ancestors who also destroyed their enemies. We will destroy the devil!" Charlson repeats, "We will destroy the devil, repeat after me!" The police officers shout, "We will destroy the devil!"

Sir Charlson says in a calmer voice "The speech is now over" Everyone applauds Sir Charlson leaves the platform A moment later he notices James and goes towards him He looks at him and says "James, my boy, what are you doing here?" James replies "I was actually only here to look for leads in the case, I thought the police might be able to help me, I saw your speech, you were fantastic" Sir Charlson replies "Thank you, how about we go over to the cafe and have a coffee together and talk about the case"James nods at him and says, "Yeah, sounds good, let's go." The two of them finally make their way to the café. They cross the streets until, after ten minutes, they reach the café. The entrance is decorated with beautiful flowers. They enter the café and sit down at a table on the left. It's cozy there. After five minutes, a waitress comes along. She has black, curly hair and green eyes. She asks in a pleasant voice, "What are these for you, gentlemen?" Charlson replies, "Two classic cafés." She nods. A few minutes later, she brings us to the café. James asks, "Do you have any information that could help us, Sir Charlson?" He replies, "All the victims died from a Glock 17 shot. I don't have anything else." James nodded

Sir Charlson says, "We'll find him no matter how much we have to sacrifice." James asks, "Is it really necessary to sacrifice anything?" Sir Charlson replies, "You always have to sacrifice something. The truth is, if you don't sacrifice anything, you'll never begin to live." James think about it. Sir Charlson asks, "Burdock, who do you think the devil is?"
