Anby's bombshell left the three girls utterly shocked. They never expected this person to say something with such massive implications with a completely straight face. The friend group fell to their knees, feeling that all their previous arguments were useless in the face of this absolute fact.
Ellen stood frozen on the spot, her mind replaying Anby's words over and over.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Anby tilted her head with a placid expression, confused by the near-meltdown of the girls in front of her. She had only stated a very normal fact.
At that exact moment, Wise finally arrived. Coincidentally, he overheard what Anby had just said. He swallowed hard and met Ellen's murderous gaze.

After a moment of silence, Wise stepped forward. From both the system and Fairy, he knew it wasn't just this situation. Belle, Rina, Nekomata, and even Corin were all about to enter a state of "dividing him into sixths." To avoid the worst possible outcome, Wise decided to handle this front first.

"Well, well, it's you. The guy who deceived Ellen's feelings. And now you dare to show up so brazenly. Should I be impressed by your courage?"
Ruby and her friends glared at Wise the moment they saw him. Just as they were about to say more, Ellen held up a hand to stop them.
"Ellen..."
"It's okay. Thank you, but this is something I need to handle myself."
"Okay." Hearing Ellen say this, the trio could only stand aside and watch. But they had all decided in their hearts that if things went south, they would rush in and give this scumbag Wise a sound beating.
"Is what she said true?"
The 'she' Ellen referred to was, of course, the innocently-faced Anby. Wise swallowed again, then gave a firm nod.

"I don't want you to leave. That's the honest truth. If I could, I would want to be with all of you forever."

"Is that so? I'm sorry, I'm not very good at lying."

Ellen thought to herself, a bit of her usual demeanor returning to her face. Then, as if she had made a decision, she looked up at Wise.

The situation instantly became grave once more.

Rina had used her hacking skills to find Wise's location. While she couldn't pinpoint his personal electronic devices, she could simply look for the person who made the post. Since the poster had said the girl in the photo was her best friend, they couldn't be too far apart even if they weren't together.
