Whoosh…
When the giant sword in Alucard's hand went to sever Judge's left arm, Judge had already passed out from the pain. Surrounding his body, his two arms and two legs now lay detached.
"That's all for now."
Alucard pulled out his gun and blew the four severed limbs to smithereens. Generally speaking, once they've been reduced to such a state, it would be impossible to reattach the limbs.
Now, Judge had lost both his arms and legs. However, if he possessed technology on the level of Vegapunk, he might achieve an unexpected result. That was the exciting part.
"A decent way to pass the time."
Alucard tossed the sword aside, ignoring the five children who were being held back by the researcher, and turned to leave the Kingdom of Joris.
It wasn't until Alucard's back was out of sight that the researcher finally let go. Yonji and the others immediately collapsed onto Judge's body, sobbing as they looked at their father's limbless form. "Father! Oh, Father!"
Compared to his four siblings, Sanji simply stared blankly in the direction Alucard had left.
Who was he? How could he have done this to Father?
The researcher knelt down, checked for a breath under Judge's nose, and a look of relief flashed across his face. "He's breathing, thank goodness. Get the medical team here immediately!"
With that, the researcher pulled a Den Den Mushi from his coat pocket and quickly made a call.
For the five Vinsmoke children, everything that happened today would undoubtedly become an unforgettable, lifelong trauma—a shadow haunting their childhoods forever.
Meanwhile, in the rear battle lines, a number of surviving Germa 66 reserve soldiers remained, and the researcher was now bringing them over at top speed.
....
At Marine Headquarters, Marineford.
In the Fleet Admiral's office.
"What a brilliant move. Using Alucard, who has an old grudge with the Vinsmoke family, to take care of that guy. With this, I don't think he'll be making any big moves for at least a decade."
Tsuru said as she placed a file on Kong's desk. A striking line was written on it: Vinsmoke Family: Near Annihilation.
"We just took advantage of what we knew about Alucard's background. It's not the kind of opportunity that will happen twice." Kong said, but he couldn't help but smile faintly. After all, what wasn't there to like about eliminating the troublesome Vinsmokes without getting their hands dirty?
"According to our intel, Vinsmoke Judge had all four of his limbs severed. How ruthless. It's a bit unexpected though; with Alucard's personality, I thought he would just kill him."
"You're too merciful, Tsuru." Kong shook his head. "It's the same principle as when we locked Shiki and Redfield in Impel Down instead of killing them."
"The Vinsmoke family is a scientific kingdom that had ties to Vegapunk before he joined the World Government. It won't be impossible for them to regenerate his limbs."
"Speaking of Vegapunk…"
Kong's gaze turned colder as he lowered his head and said, "It seems that guy is up to something again."
"Hmm?" Tsuru frowned. From many perspectives, Vegapunk's importance was no less than that of an Admiral.
"Take a look at this."
Kong pulled a bounty poster from his drawer and placed it on the desk. Tsuru took it and read it.
San Juan Wolf
Bounty: 92,000,000 Berries
From the photo, the man had an enormous face, and an impossibly huge body. It was hard to guess his age from his appearance alone; he could be thirty or forty.
"This is a new pirate who recently appeared in the Grand Line. Vegapunk and the World Government have requested that we capture him." Kong said gravely.
"A bounty of 92,000,000 Berries? He's a rookie?" Tsuru's brows furrowed. "How did he get a bounty this high right away? What did he do?"
"He didn't do much…"
Kong paused, then gave a strange laugh. "He just ate two islands." "Ate?" Tsuru asked, her face tight.
"According to an eyewitness Marine, his height exceeds 150 meters. Our Giant Marines aren't even as big as one of his arms," Kong said coldly.
"Is there a race in this world bigger than the Giant race and the Oars Giants?" When she heard "150 meters," Tsuru's expression changed.
"That's why Vegapunk and the government are very interested. They want to capture him to study him. Did that guy eat a Devil Fruit? Or is he a cyborg? Hmph… They're all freaks…" Kong sneered again at the end of his sentence.
"A guy that big should be easy to spot. Who will go?" Tsuru asked.
"No rush. He doesn't seem to have any intention of heading to the New World. He's just aimlessly drifting. We'll wait. I have another pirate crew I need you to handle."
"Who?"
"The Donquixote Pirates!"
....
In the first half of the Grand Line, Paradise.
The island of Crescent, a place with few notable features but known for its abundant agriculture.
At this moment, in front of a shipyard, over a dozen shipwrights knelt before Alucard. The gray- bearded old man leading them was so terrified he slammed his head to the ground, his voice shaky. "Alucard-sama, we truly cannot fix your ship. The damage is extensive beyond repair.
You can kill us, but we won't be able to help."
Inside the workshop behind them, Alucard's ship lay silently on a huge steel plate. While it had a number of scars, the ship's exterior appeared normal overall.
Two days ago, Alucard had felt the ship slowly losing his control. Although he could still use his ability to control it, the ship itself needed to be functional. So, he had docked at this island and brought the ship in for repairs.
However, after inspecting it, the shipwrights had come back with a verdict: the damage was too severe to be fixed.
Alucard's complete annihilation of the Vinsmoke family had recently put him in the headlines.
The shipwrights, upon recognizing Alucard, were so terrified they immediately fell to their knees, begging for mercy and hoping he wouldn't vent his frustration about the ship on them.
