Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Three sharp stones pierced straight through Nomu's exposed brain matter.

The impact splattered blood and gray tissue into the air, a sickening metallic tang flooding the battlefield.

"U-Uchiha-san…"

Iida's legs buckled. His face went pale, eyes wide with horror. He'd never seen anything like this—

A brain splattered.

A man-like monster felled by pebbles.

On the other side, Kurogiri froze.

"No… this is impossible."

The Nomu they painstakingly engineered—destroyed in seconds.

Who was this boy named Uchiha?

The hulking corpse slumped forward, hitting the ground with a dull, lifeless thud.

Madara exhaled softly, almost disappointed.

"Such a letdown."

He muttered, folding his arms.

Nomu couldn't even dodge a pebble.

Madara didn't know Nomu couldn't react because his speed surpassed its reflexes entirely.

"Aizawa-sensei. No. 13. Can you two handle Kurogiri?" Madara called over his shoulder.

"Not a big problem," Aizawa replied curtly. His mind still spun, but this wasn't the time to question everything.

"Fine." Madara nodded, vanishing in a flicker of speed.

"I'm heading to the flood zone."

Flood Area

Midoriya Izuku crouched low on the boat, heart pounding.

He counted the enemies.

Twelve villains. Two students.

His grip on the railing tightened. His arms shook—not from fear, but from knowing how hopeless this felt.

If he used One For All now, he'd cripple himself, and Asui would be left alone.

One shot. That's all he had. He had to make it count.

"They're taking too long."

One villain with a sharp, eel-like face sneered from the water below.

"Maybe we should just sink them."

Another shook his head.

"Don't forget the orders—find out their Quirks first."

Behind them, soft footsteps rippled on the water.

"I said… how long do you plan on playing this stalemate?"

The voice was calm. Almost bored.

Izuku and Asui's eyes widened as they stared over the edge of the boat.

A pair of sandals hovered inches above the water.

"H-He's standing… on the water?!"

The nearest villain gave a nonchalant answer without looking back.

"Eh, ten minutes or so…"

And then it hit him—

He whirled around.

A boy in a black uniform stood on the surface, arms folded.

Scarlet eyes stared back at him.

"A-AH—"

He screamed—

A massive hand made of water surged upward, aiming straight for Madara.

"CRASH!!"

Waves exploded outward. The villains staggered, the formation breaking apart.

"What the hell?!"

"Who is that?!"

"Did someone take their meds before showing up today?!"

One of them scowled.

"Relax. It's just a student. Probably some water-walking Quirk. Don't get jumpy."

"Are you sure about that?"

The voice came from right behind him.

The villain spun around—

Madara stood there, arms folded, staring down at him.

"Get him!!"

The villain lunged—

Madara's hand shot forward, wrapping around his neck.

He lifted the man effortlessly.

"Crack."

A sickening snap echoed.

The man's body twitched, then went limp.

Madara dropped the corpse like it was trash.

"…U-Uchiha-san?!"

Midoriya's breath caught in his throat.

Madara… just killed someone.

A person.

No hesitation. No emotion.

Asui's hands trembled slightly beside him.

Who… was this guy?

The remaining villains stared in frozen horror.

A kid—a teenager—had just snapped a man's neck like it was nothing.

And his face hadn't even changed.

"Not coming?"

Madara's eyes swept the group lazily.

"Then I'll come to you."
