Chapter 23 - Chapter 23

"Your speed…" Aizawa Shouta narrowed his eyes, eyeing Uchiha Madara with suspicion. "What exactly are your Quirks?"

"And how did you escape them?"

Aizawa had seen plenty of powerful Quirks—but this? This wasn't adding up.

Madara had shown strength, speed, illusions, and that strange blue skeleton. None of it made sense.

But Madara only gave a faint smile, keeping his scarlet eyes locked on Kurogiri and Nomu.

"Let's settle what's in front of us first. We'll talk later."

There was a faint glint in Madara's eyes.

Finally.

A real fight.

"What about the others?" Madara asked without turning his head.

"Kurogiri scattered them with his portals. I don't know where they ended up." Aizawa's voice was grim.

Madara gave a soft hum.

"Midoriya… he might be in trouble."

From what he remembered, Midoriya had been teleported near the flood zone with Asui Tsuyu.

But with Minoru Mineta in Class B now, things could go very differently this time…

"Boy."

Kurogiri's distorted voice cut in, thick with menace.

"I don't know what happened with Shigaraki—but if you're here now, you're not leaving."

Madara lifted his gaze, the three tomoe of his Sharingan spinning slowly.

"Try me."

Ahead, Nomu's mangled arm regenerated in seconds, reforming with sickening speed.

"Don't be reckless!"

Aizawa grabbed Madara's shoulder, pulling him back.

"Leave this to us pros. You—take Iida and run. Get reinforcements."

But Madara gently shrugged him off, stepping forward to stand beside him.

"We both know that's not happening."

He cracked his knuckles.

"Got any decent weapons?"

"Step back!" Aizawa snapped, his voice sharp. "Your job is to escape, not fight."

Madara gave a small grin.

"If we're splitting hairs, isn't your Erasure Quirk technically a support type too?"

"Tch…"

Nearby, Thirteen called over her shoulder while fighting off a villain—

"Seriously, is this the time?!"

But Madara was already walking forward.

"I'll deal with the exposed brain first."

"Wait—" Aizawa started, but Madara blurred out of sight, vanishing with a rush of wind.

Aizawa blinked.

"…That's a composite Quirk." He muttered under his breath.

"Iida, be ready. Find your moment!"

"Y-Yes, sir!" Iida clenched his fists, eyes fixed on Madara's fading silhouette.

"Bang!"

Madara's fist slammed into Nomu's gut.

Nomu didn't budge.

Madara narrowed his eyes.

So… simple force isn't enough.

Without wasting a beat, he gathered Chakra in his fist and struck again.

"BOOM!"

This time, the force of the blow sent a shockwave tearing through the air.

Nomu's massive body hurtled backward, crashing into a stone pillar, crumbling it on impact.

"I knew it." Madara flexed his hand, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.

"He can absorb shock—but Chakra isn't something he can deal with."

On the other side of the battlefield, Kurogiri faltered.

"What…?"

Nomu—knocked back?

This brat knocked Nomu back?!

He felt an icy dread seep into his core.

Was this kid… stronger than All Might?

But Nomu was designed to defeat All Might!

Through his Sharingan, Madara shifted his gaze.

Beyond the battlefield—near the flood zone—

Midoriya, on a small boat with Asui Tsuyu, was struggling, cornered by a group of villains.

Madara's eyes narrowed.

"You're not dying yet, protagonist."

He smirked faintly.

If Midoriya fell here, the plot itself would unravel—and that would ruin Madara's fun.

"ROOOAR!"

Nomu's distorted growl echoed across the battlefield.

He stood, shaking off debris, and slammed his feet into the ground—

"BOOM!"

The ground cracked as he charged at Madara, faster this time.

Madara crouched slightly, scooping up a handful of rubble with one hand.

With a flick of his wrist—

"Puff! Puff! Puff!"

Three sharp stones shot forward like bullets, piercing the air.
