The dark-colored carriage, surrounded by clouds and repeated bursts of crackling lightning, shot forward and pierced through the domain shield surrounding the massive island. The energy shield opened upon its approach, allowing the carriage to pass through without slowing down. From inside the carriage, rows of towering hills could be seen across the outer region, covered by vast stretches of dense forest, while scattered settlements occupied the open spaces between them.
On several of those towering hills stood defensive towers, positioned across the island as part of its protection and surveillance system.
The carriage continued racing toward the center of the island, where an enormous area could be seen in the distance. It was the main fortress, a massive white structure with a semi-modern design, decorated with lines of glowing blue energy that ran along parts of its walls and towers.
