Atlas spent some time there simply holding his two children, neither willing nor wanting to be the first to let go. The embrace felt strangely comforting, especially now that every sense in his body seemed so much clearer than before. He could feel their little arms around him, their warmth against his chest, and even the tiny movements they made whenever they tried to hug him tighter.
Eventually, though reluctantly, Atlas loosened his arms and pulled back enough to look at them properly. His attention immediately settled on Cael, and only then did he realize just how different the boy looked. He was bigger now, much bigger than Atlas remembered. Was he already the size of a four-year-old?
"How did you get this big already, Cael?"
