“Thank you, you may go.”

As the messenger closed the door behind him, Rexid and Owen looked at Rosica simultaneously.
“What the heck?”
“What’s going on?”
“The reason I knew about the viscount’s crazy deeds is that I was once sold off by him when I was younger.”
Owen’s eyes turned big and round upon hearing what Rosica had to say.

“You said that you were sold off with Ahel. Were you talking about the viscount?”

“Yes, I knew he’d been making money by trafficking children but I didn’t know he was still active to this day. It doesn’t make sense that he didn’t get caught when he was doing such things right in the middle of the capital.”
