Chapter 3 - The Police Arrive! Okiji in Trouble!

Okiji readied his blades once more, and began to spin around, using one leg to pivot himself rapidly. When watching from the outside, the moves he was about to make looked like he was a pinball.

He launched himself across the ground, still spinning, allowing him to cut down the circle of police officers that surrounded him. They all attempted to shoot, but it was no use, for the speed at which he was spinning and the form with which he held his blades allowed him to deflect all the bullets. This, however, also meant that some of them were sent right back into the crowd. Not exactly ideal when you're trying to clear your reputation.

When Okiji emerged from the spin, the crowd stared shocked and angry at him. He was now officially a criminal, though he didn't care. He'd always been a sort of vigilante in his own eyes. He jumped up, and began to run across the crowd, using peoples' heads as stepping stones.

At this point, everyone was screaming at him, yelling for somebody to stop him. He was near the edge of town at this point, closing in on the docks. He was hoping to make a quick escape out to the water.

As he approached the docks, though, he found that more police had swarmed the port area of the village. He swiftly made a turn, jumping up to one of the rooftops. He had surprising agility, especially considering he was nearly 50. He followed the trail of houses the other way, heading inland this time.

As he passed by the marketplace once more, he caught sight of not only angry crowds, but a little boy who appeared to be following him. He shook it off, though, knowing his main objective right now was to escape Bay Harbor.

He continued jumping from rooftop to rooftop, evading the shots from the police below. Suddenly, the row of buildings ended, signaling he'd finally made it out of the village. He jumped to the ground, rolling into the fall to avoid any injury, and continued on his way.

He ran across the grassy meadows, trying to escape. When he turned around (not stopping his pace), he found that there were now multiple police units following him. But, they were of no concern, for he far outpaced them, losing sight of them quickly.

Meanwhile, the leader of the pursuing police teams, realizing they'd never catch up, decided to call in reinforcements.

"This is chase team A, reporting to headquarters," he said. "We're not able to keep up with this guy. Send in the elite unit."
