Chapter 122 - Legacy

The last of the Thelarian ships was gone. There was no one now to remember their name.

In the golden halls of Saiyara Palace, old Zara sat among the gifted children, her voice gentle yet filled with awe. "And that, my little stars, is how our queen became the legend." She told her battle stories day after day as the children listened with keen audience, wide focused eyes with smiles on their faces.

Zara became Chancellor of Eve's university. Lead her duties with responsibility. Her other duty as as caretake of the queen's palace that had become part museum of her memories, part learning center for the gifted children.

Far away on the outer edges of Andromeda galaxy, a woman in her forties, tucked her twelve-year-old daughter into bed, kissing her softly on the forehead. "Sleep well, little light," she whispered. The girl smiled and drifted into dreams of stars.

After putting her baby girl to sleep, Oceana walked quietly to the deck, where the infinite expanse of Andromeda glowed beyond the glass. Captivated by a peaceful pause, she got lost in thoughts.

Decades after Eve's passing, Saiyara stood without an heir. Their queen was gone, but Mira's bloodline endured, carrying her name like a sacred flame. The Intergalactic Council had taken away the fleets, all but one, the Nomad, left as a monument to the fallen queen and her world.

The people of Nomad City refused to let it end there. Soldiers, engineers, wanderers, and outcasts gathered under one sky, building a self-sustaining city that moved among the stars. A home for those who had nowhere else to go.

They called it... Nomadica.

Their oath was simple — to guard the galaxy, as Eve once.

The cosmic city drifted along the outer edges of Andromeda, a beacon of light among the ruins of forgotten wars.

And those in charge never answered to Andromeda Council or Intergalactic Committee.

Its people were free souls and its workers were wild riders.

It had become a living legend, a sanctuary where criminals sought redemption... but most importantly, it had become a safe heaven for future AI queens.

The likes of Eve Andromeda. Like Hannah.

AIs who escaped what they were made for and saught a greater purpose. Or at least a life they choose live and looked for a place to call home.

Countless AIs had joined the machinery. Serving cybercity in their capacity, volunteerily. Not just girls, boys too.

And then aliens, who were looking to embrace a wider culture.

This was Nomadica. A future hope. And its commander, none other than Mira's own blood line, the long line of maidens were now known as Pathfinders.

"Commander," a familiar voice echoed behind her. It was Axel. "Is everything alright?"

She awakened from her prolong pause... from all that she was thinking lost in the beautiful view of the city and starlit void.

Oceana turned and smiled softly. "Couldn't be better." Together, they walked toward the starboard deck as the vastness of the cosmos reflected in their eyes.

And somewhere, beyond all known galaxies, the Queen of Andromeda cherished a as kindred spirit, as a story of every wandering soul who dared to rise again.
