In the Super anime, an angel's staff doesn't just store things it houses a pocket dimension not unlike the Room of Spirit and Time, where time flows differently from the outside world.
Levos planned to take advantage of the trip back to Earth to pull a few allies inside and grind. At the very least, Puar needed to learn basic ki control.
Which meant asking Vados for help. Again.
Before he could, Puar's voice piped up behind him.
"M-Master Levos, this is the form I want from now on…"
Levos turned and blinked at a stranger.
A girl stood there with long, glossy blue hair, pure and a little shy in the face, the very picture of a sweet airhead.
And she was wearing nothing but a scarlet high-cut swimsuit, thigh-high black stockings, and knee boots.
Every curve on full display.
It was the exact bunny girl Puar had turned into to "cure" Master Roshi in Super. Had Puar just… gone above and beyond?
Levos remembered: whenever Puar turned into kid Goku, or even Beerus, the face was always a little blank, a little off. But turn into a girl and suddenly the illusion was alive.
He could not make sense of it.
Bulma rolled her eyes. "Puar, that's way too sexy. You'll just attract creeps."
"R-Really? Miss Bulma, you don't like it?" Puar asked, anxious.
"Of course not! Dressed like that, you're asking for trouble," Bulma scolded, then added, "And it's awful for fighting."
Puar flustered. "Then what should I do?"
"Change clothes, obviously." Bulma flipped out a capsule. A puff later, she had a black combat suit in hand. "It's my size try it."
"O-Okay." Puar held it up against her. The proportions were perfect; it would fit.
Then she flushed and covered her cheeks. "But…where do I change?"
Bulma hesitated. "You can't control your ki yet. If you step out of the shield, the temple could be in danger…"
"I'll handle it," Levos said lightly.
He tapped a finger. In an instant the combat suit replaced the swimsuit, snug on Puar's frame.
"Thank you, Master Levos!" Puar bowed, very proper.
"Don't mention it." Levos couldn't help ruffling her hair. It felt just like Puar's fur soft and silky.
A few minutes later, Levos laid out his request to Vados.
"No problem. Seven days inside equals one day outside," she smiled. "You've got about an hour till we reach Earth use it well."
Seven hours, effectively, to chase Super Saiyan while getting Puar comfortable with ki.
"Thank you, Miss Vados. I owe you."
"A trifle."
Vados tossed her staff into the air. It hung there, humming and a soft flash swallowed several figures where they stood.
The scene flipped. Levos and the chosen group were standing in a pale, hazy-white expanse.
He'd brought the Saiyans, Mini-Cell, Piccolo, Bulma, and Android 18.
"This place…" Goku turned slowly, nostrils flaring. "Feels just like the Room of Spirit and Time."
"That stifling air I know it," Future Trunks said. "Oppressive, and the ki all around is…wrong."
"Why…can't I move?" Gohan grunted in surprise.
"The environment is dangerous for most of you," Levos said calmly. "It's saturated with divine ki. Evade it and pull all of your ki back inside if you want to move freely. Treat this as a high-difficulty training field."
At Levos's current base, this space couldn't threaten him. For everyone else bar Piccolo, Puar, and Mini-Cell it was a slog.
"Piccolo, please coach everyone. I need to crack the Saiyan transformations, fast."
He blurred away, a streak of light.
Back on the Kaioshin Realm, he'd skimmed death. While he was out, the scientists had tuned his body Hyde had not only deleted Cell Max's weak points but grafted samples of Rose Broly's cells into him, and given him the ability to return to his human appearance at will.
Then, in Cell form, he'd absorbed Dark Gogeta.
All told, his Saiyan biology now had a ridiculous ceiling.
His base alone sat on par with a single Mini-Cell absurdly high. If he stacked Super Saiyan on top, he might even push his base past his Cell-form benchmarks.
But the form he hungered for most was Broly's: Full-Power Super Saiyan.
Even so, there was a prerequisite transformation with higher priority: the Great Ape line.
The Great Ape route mattered both as the key to Super Saiyan 4 and for the Wrathful (humanoid Great Ape) state.
Wrathful stacked with Super Saiyan. That alone meant a terrifying power multiplier. Super Saiyan One gave a fiftyfold boost by itself; Wrathful then Super Saiyan One could push that to roughly five hundredfold over base.
The new-era Broly had used Wrathful stacked with Full-Power Super Saiyan to brawl Blue Goku and Blue Vegeta, force Golden Frieza to grit his teeth and ultimately drag Gogeta onto the stage.
Levos began sorting through the steps to trigger Great Ape.
"Some planets have moons. When sunlight strikes a moon, it reflects as a specific electromagnetic wave.
"On a full moon, those waves spike into a hazardous band."
Saiyans needed at least 17 million zeni units of Blutz Waves through the eyes while they still had their tails; the stimulus traveled to the tail and triggered the transformation.
In short: with a tail, stare at a full moon and you go Great Ape.
"Even here, in a pocket dimension, a Saiyan can create an artificial moon."
The method floated up from memory: mix oxygen into a stabilized ki sphere.
Levos's eyes lit. In his mechanical form, information surfaced as if from a databank right down to the recipe for the Power Ball.
There was so much to mine from that form's systems.
"Good. Then this gets easy."
Levos slipped back into his base body.
In his palm, a yellow orb of ki began to bloom.
